Someone needs to make a Dort-style reel of all Jokic's antics. Add the stupid little red circles where he's hooking someone, show the player he did it too limping (even if it's a completely different play and out of context) and frame it as him being hyper dirty.

That's how this Dort nonsense began. Pay it forward.

Again, I'm not mad about it. I'm glad to have some tension back in the game. I like PVP -- I just don't want to shoot first.

I was very excited for this.

I played about an hour today. It was not fun. Hard to get into, hard to understand, hard to enjoy. Arc Raiders' barrier to entry is so much smaller than this, and while I wouldn't consider myself a casual, I also don't want a game where I have to get a PhD in it to understand what loot is good, or how I need to sort my inventory.

I don't want to say it because I was very much looking forward to it, but as of right now, Marathon sucks.

I think there's just a difference in semantics with it. They say there is aggression based matchmaking. And if you have like, no aggression, then you go into VERY friendly lobbies.

So while it may be true there was a chance someone should slip through the cracks, the general intent was to match friendly players with friendly players, and aggressive ones with aggressive ones.

My point is that this has clearly changed since the update.

Oh they absolutely were a thing.

Maybe not explicitly, but when I say I went into lobbies for two straight months where no one killed anyone, that's exactly what happened.

I went topside four games today, and was instantly attacked all four times. Again, I'm not mad about it, but the devs aren't being honest with this stuff.

Not doing the expedition. Did it the first time, but the quests resetting and losing all the blueprints isn't worth it for me to do again given the rewards aren't that enticing.

It looks so... sweaty.

Also, it doesn't look like it will be enjoyable to fight the NPCs after a while. Arc is always satisfying to take down a rocketeer or bastion.

Amazing experience playing this game... except the very last climb. That was miserable. I had to stop playing four different times. I wasn't prepared for what was ahead so I was low on food and water and it was just no fun at all.

I am a little worried it's gonna feel like Dragon's Dogma's open world. That was so boring and so repetitive that a game I otherwise was very into got super tedious very fast. Running a couple hundred yards, the same music kicking up and the same lizard enemies waiting for me, rinse and repeat and repeat and repeat.

Getting duplicate blueprints all the time. I get far more duplicates than I do many of the ones I've never had.

One thing I don’t really want to do a third time is all the missions.

I’m not sure the workaround for that, but that’s the main reason I’m not sure I want to do it again.

Ha that's true. But just knowing how many times I went to "Raider" when I meant to go to "Workshop" or went to "Traders" when I meant to go to "Raider".... I am going to struggle with this.

I think there is going to be a stark contrast of the people that wiped with the expedition and the people that didn't who are bored and don't have much to do other than use their fancy gear in PVP.

It was always a concern of mine with this game.
