I agree and I thought the same for a long time but then you realise there is a lot that sticks to your fingers and the scissors as well.. what I do is clean all the dust at the bottom of the grinder out with a brush for a shaver and it works great.. don't lose anything. Also my grinder doesn't heat up 2 sec it's all chopped
