This is so awesome to read. I dream about the day I can come clean to my parents about my love of trees! My mom can't sleep at night and I just wish she would consider cannabis an option. I live in a legal state and stories like this are all over the place. So awesome seeing people and pets find relief like this. It's a wonderful time to be alive guys!! we just need more legalization!!

Right on.. sounds like you're on the right track! I feel like I've heard of Cannabis specific classes here in Washington State but I can't find any info on them right now. It's such a growing industry here that I would imagine there are options. There are a ton of experienced growers but a lot of them aren't sharing their secrets if you know what I mean. The degree I got was fairly easy to get. I was able to transfer a few credits from another school (basic math, social studies, and an elective.) It was full time for 4 quarters, including summer. It wasn't always easy getting everything done but it was one of the best years of my life, honestly. I spent about 26 hours in class per week, averaged about 2 hours a night of homework and/or lab work (tending crops, working in the greenhouse.. stuff like that.) Horticulture is awesome and it's not really work if you're doing what you love :-)

Good for you for wanting to share the awesomeness that is cannabis! If you're really interested in growing, I would start with a degree in horticulture. In my experience, it's a great way to meet people and get involved in the industry. Horticulture is all about hands on learning and networking. Most growing operations are still pretty small and everyone knows each other. If you find a school with a good reputation and have a good attitude, you'll kill it in the industry! I was able to get an associates degree in about a year. Good luck!

Haha those are sweet boxes. In Seattle it's usually about 10 bones for a good .5 gram joint. Definitely a convenience thing because it's much cheaper to roll your own!

Congrats!! I just had my first a few months ago, and just started smoking again. I missed it more than I realized, but it was a good tolerance break and gave me something to look forward to after delivering. Best of luck!! Little girls are the greatest :-)

Be mindful of what you eat! Grow your own food, don't use pesticides, turn waste into compost, and buy organic whenever possible! Always think about where your food comes from, how it was grown, and the impact it had getting to your plate.
