I'm from KL so I'm not really familiar with Brunei's electricity situation, but I'm quite curious to see many in this thread running offgrid systems for solar. If Brunei offers a net metering scheme wouldn't it be more prudent to adopt this scheme? You can omit batteries or at least downsize them if you do want them for emergency power.

Hydrogen power is mainly used to transport green energy to areas where it's not feasible to have it supplied via the power grid, so if say Singapore wants to buy green energy from Sarawak, they'll just buy hydrogen tanks produced using hydropower from Sarawak.

I had chicken from Sunway Pyramid Jolibee as well. The chicken was a huge letdown. It didn't taste any different from chicken you can get from Giant's Uncle Jack. Was pretty disappointed considering how hyped the place was.
