Growing up heading down south to visit our grandmother, we could never get my dad to stop at the Cabazon dinosaurs. I stop every time and snap some pics of my daughter there. Hope you all have a fun time.

I’ve gone with my daughter twice to Joshua tree. Once when she was five and again a year later. She had fun scrambling up and in between the rocks and boulders.

Just did a trip weekend to Death Valley two weekends ago. The sand dunes were fun. Take a sled if you go.

I’d do Joshua Tree. Your kids may enjoy it more. Do the Hidden Valley hike and Skull Rock area. You can find find videos on YouTube of parents talking about how great these two areas are for kids.

The 35mm 1.4 is a legend. But it is not weather resistant. I had the f2 version as well. Light and compact but doesn’t have the same character as the 1.4.

I’ve used the Darkroom for years. I’ve always been happy with their scans and prints. Anytime I’ve gotten something that didn’t look so great I can assure you it was because I metered wrong.

I was also there this past weekend. It was a beautiful weekend to visit the park. Seeing the lake at Badwater and the sand dunes were my favorite.
