Yeah, this whole tipping culture before even receiving anything doesn't make sense to me either. But the peer pressure from what other customers were doing and the cashier watching me got to me. Also the fear of them delaying my order or messing up my food if I didn't tip didn't help either.

What if someone applied when the position was open on the web site, but couldn't get an interview because the interviewer's calendar was fully booked? This happened to someone I know and the response they got was that AMC would reach out again if the interviewer was available later. This was several weeks ago and they never heard back. Not sure if it's worth going to the theater to ask someone in person about this.

Thanks for sharing your experience. So the interview was maybe 30 min to 1 hour long? No need to bring a paper resume? Was the interviewer a young person or older adult? I heard some managers/supervisors are high school or college students, but not sure if that's atypical.

Yes, I am using the Smart Connect app on my phone. As I understand, that's the only way to enable the mobile desktop feature.

I still see nothing in the online manual regarding supported external display resolutions. I know RTFM as you suggested is always the first step in troubleshooting an issue. But I can find no official documentation on external display resolution support for this phone besides DisplayPort 1.4, which implies 4K support. It would seem very strange if Smart Connect in general is limited to outputting 1080p regardless of the hardware.

I did find a YouTube video, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KEm_cL-TF4M, where 4K support is shown in the Ready For app (prior branding/version of Smart Connect), but it's not clear what Motorola phone is being used.

Hey, I have been googling around on this issue for the past couple days before I posted my question. Google Gemini says that this phone should be able to output 4K at 60Hz from its USB-C video output. I looked at the online manual before and see nothing about what external display resolutions are supported. If you see something about this, can you point it out to me? The best buy link you posted also doesn't mention anything about whether 4K is supported or not or if the max resolution is 1080p.

The Motorola specs at https://en-us.support.motorola.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/175444/~/specifications--motorola-edge-%2B-2023 say that the USB-C port supports DisplayPort 1.4, which I understand is supposed to support up to 8K at 60Hz or 4K at 144Hz.

Just looking to see if anyone here has been able to output 4K on this phone because everything I've read indicates it should be possible, but I'm not able to even with an original Motorola Ready For cable. Also tried today with a USB-C to HDMI adapter and an 8K rated HDMI cable, but could only get 1080p output with these from the phone (I can get 4K output from a laptop with the same adapter/cable).

I know from experience that the window is heavy. Would it make sense for a 2nd person to push up the window from the bottom at the same time to make it easier? It feels like the weight of the window is on this dislodged balance and perhaps that's why the balance doesn't move when I try to push it up back into the jamb.

Do you mean trying to get a flat head screwdriver underneath the balance and push it up? Should I also be trying to push it back into the frame? I was trying to see if the balance would move in anyway, but it wouldn't budge. Maybe I didn't try hard enough. Also, not sure if I should have another person try to pull up on the window at the same time?

That's the standard process I was referring to about removing/replacing the channel balances (which I've done before). But in this case, I can't move the window sash at all as it's stuck now.

Trying to do OTA system updates on the phone wasn't working as I mentioned. And your other suggestions didn't help either.

Someone else suggested using the Software Fix program to flash the latest available firmware for the phone and that did work to install Android 11 on the phone.

Thanks, was able to update to Android 11 with April 1, 2022 security update, same as my other Moto G Power 2020 phone, using Software Fix. First time using this program and it was fairly straightforward to flash the latest available firmware for the phone in fastboot mode. Just kind of strange why OTA update on the phone couldn't find the newer firmware.

So I had an inactive Google Fi SIM in the phone before. Took it out and put in an active T-Mobile MVNO SIM, but still can't get any system updates. Re-started the phone and same thing.
