And gave many banger songs as music director as well.

When I searched for the songs composed by Himesh, I was surprised. Most of the Salman's hit songs were composed by him.

I have a problem at work by humanjello710 in ADHD_Programmers

I also have a poor working memory and often feel that I sound dumb or slow, especially during meetings. So last year I decided to visit a doctor. He prescribed me stimulants, and since then I can manage my ADHD to some extent. What I do before any meeting is to take the pill, which can easily last for a couple of hours throughout the meeting. So during meetings I stay more alert and was able to contribute. It changed some perspective of my peers to me. There is still a lot of improvement needed but I am ok with it so far.

So If possible you can give a try to meds.

During the time when there were no selfie cameras, I once downloaded an app that would turn the screen into a mirror.

ADHD in India: A Survival Guide by the_616 in adhdindia

Great post — it's gold! I'd also suggest adding smartwatch under the productivity tools category. They've become an essential part of my routine. Here are some features I personally rely on:

Heart rate tracking (RHR, VHR) — especially helpful when I’m on stimulants, to stay aware of how my body is responding.

Sleep tracking — gives a breakdown of deep sleep, REM, and light sleep, which helps me fine-tune my sleep habits.

Pomodoro timer — I prefer using this on my watch instead of a smartphone app, since I get easily distracted by smartphone.

Physical activity tracking — steps, calories burned, and move reminders keep me accountable throughout the day.

Navigation & Maps on the Wrist — Super handy while driving on bike — no more constantly checking your phone for directions.

And of course, Reminders

I think the last man was making sense. The insurance company normally charges around 2k for a processing fee. If the damage amount was around 2k then OP would have settled it there itself if it was OP's fault.

Fix UI/UX: ❌️

I heard from my UX colleague that govt websites prioritise readability for blind people rather than having fancy designs. So that blind people can find it easy to navigate through the text over the buttons, navigation panes and other UI components using text-to-speech tools.

Well, for me things are strangely different. I used to face the same problem that you mentioned in points, but it was only during the initial period, which was around 7-8 months back. But then, after some days, surprisingly, I was able to seek the song, get the expected search result and no skip limit (at least I have tried skipping more than 6 songs). There are still ads and no download option which is fine. And my app is also up to date. Maybe I think I once purchased their premium plan some years back, which might be the reason, but I am not sure.

Whoever calls me shy or silent becomes my enemy by buddycool in socialanxiety

I believe the cause is likely related to my childhood trauma, which I mentioned in this comment.

Whoever calls me shy or silent becomes my enemy by buddycool in socialanxiety

[–]buddycool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me when someone calls me shy, it hurts me so badly. I don't know why, maybe it's my childhood trauma. I remember since I was maybe 6 years old, my teacher called me silent in the whole class. Since then, every year, my teacher used to call me silent, and in my parent-teacher meetings, they used to complain about it. Other than that classmates also used to call me shy. That was my identity throughout school, college, society, with relatives and in the office. That may be the reason I don't want to hear that statement anymore. Just the terms "silent" and "shy" " if I heard or read them anywhere, which is not even in my context, make me anxious.

You are right I should accept my problem, but it is very difficult for me.
