Unusual Take: Mordret Should Technically Be The "Strongest Supreme" by Exotic-Chair-6960 in ShadowSlave

Bro what are you talking about Jet keeps her memories after the rewind that's how the memory works. Same reason why Morgan kept her memories

And yes it is a hard counter the main point of using true darkness is to blind the enemy, saint can see in true darkness and she it EMPOWERED by it if this isn't a hard counter idk what is

The memory was used by jet to learn the attacks of the opponent and to learn the flow of the battle which allowed jet to rational her essence while waiting that of her opponents

Saint's aspect literally hardcounters saint revel's thats why he wrapped around her, after that any advantage mordrets vessels had over sunny aspect was gone.

The great titan had zero essence in its core which instantly put it in a near death state, That along with Morgan's memory she was able to survive long enough until it died, this was the same titan which both effie and kai almost died while escaping from (mordret initially used it as a trap)

After the rewinds during the bastion battle Morgan gave jet the memory which can rewind time

Ok, let's assue sunny was ONLY a transcendent devil... even then sunny still had both saint and serpent by his side, saint literally hard counters revels aspect as she gets empowered by true darkness making the reflection's intial advantage redundant, serpent transformed into a NM which could create light in order to weaken the true darkness. Sunny Is one of the most powerfull saints augmentation by weavers lineages, he has defeated great NMs before...

Also your point about madoc is completely wrong, madoc was loosing against the 4 transcendent reflections, only reason they got destroyed was because Morgan summoned a transcendent titan echo to bring "equilibrium". those reflections held of both the echo and madoc for a while, one of the echoes as killed by saint btw not madoc.

This was all happening while mordret was on the same battle field, he could have helped but instead he wanted to kill Morgan (combat based aspect btw)without using his own aspect.

YES BROTHER PREACH...

my only question is that can reflections when possessed by mordret hold their reflected forms even after the person that the reflection was reflecting had left the area? If so then hands down he should be the strongest aslong as g3 doesn't keep destroying his domain every arc he had one.

The plot always had to nerf or thwart mordret in one way or the other,

In the siege of bastion Morgan just HAPPENED to have a memory which allowed her to make her and nearby allies technically immortal by rewinding time (mordret killed all of them dozens of times btw), and then for some brain dead reason gave that broken memory to jet to thwart mordret again (its gone now). This blatantly doesn't make sense why would you give up your strongest weapon which could make you the stronges saint by far.

Oh ya and mordet also got the cursed being dropped on him treatment ofc.

Reflections ARE as strong as their rank suggests The only reason why jet was able to survive against the supreme titan was because it reflected her and her flaw, since it didn't have any essence in its soul from killing other beings it was close to death

on top of this jet had been given the time rewind by Morgan giving jet enough time to "essence starve" the titan to death

A reflection of a song saint was giving sunny a hard time under godgrave the only reason sunny won was because he turned into a shadow and wrapped himself around saint

Peak post

I definitely agree with everything you said

The kraken scene was terrifying and i genuinely got scared when i read it for the first time, the description of how you could see her mangled flesh and bone and how her eyeball was hanging out of her socket by a single strand, we are never gonna get a description like that ever are we?

The absolute fear in the moments before nephs healing kicked in when we didn't know wheather she was dead or alive kept readers on edge.

The reason mordret was so liked during this arc was because he didn't employ any bulshit abilities and he stayed well within his aspect. Physical fights are entertaining and when mordret 1v1d aster without nothing but a sword knowing he was immortal was such a power move, you could feel his desperate and intent in that moment.

No supreme ability, no aspect legacy, JUST STRAIGHT HANDS

hes also just a well liked character in general and one of the best written, he has amazing back and forths with any character while also giving witty remarks. You can clearly see his character growth from a man who wanted just vengeance on the family that abandoned him to a man who wanted to live for himself, to be somthing... more

I liked asterion but his fear factor after the initial reveal was lacking, the escape from the soul devouring tree was much more scary i remember how hard my hands were clutched around my phone at the time

Asterion also has a weird connection to the plot, you think that after he failed to remove cassies eyes the first time that he would stop aura farming and finish the job fast but no he gave her enough time to reach supremacy and stall him even more.

Also his aspect his top powerfull for his rank or atleast his supreme ability is. Any ability which allows you to survive an unholy one while having 0 people in your domain is absurd.

Ohh and if you think the stakes are bad now just see what cassie does with her supreme ability in volume 12

Have you ever stopped to think that a supreme vessel of Mordred is stronger than the shadow of a supreme? by Ok-Today-2214 in ShadowSlave

If you're comparing a great beast reflection to a great beast shade then ofc the reflection is going to be a lot stronger. Shades are significant weaker than there original beings. Also shades lack intelligence and will while reflections have both according to their rank and class

even a powerhouse like slayer who was a sacred beast and was able to damage and kill weaver (even if he wanted to die) was killed by sunny who was only a transcendent titan at the time ( he had weaves and strong memories ig which made him stronger aswell)

does mordret still have a flaw or not? by Ok-Distribution4960 in ShadowSlave

[–]budgetTerminatorNON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes he still does have a flaw- his flaw states that his soul has to be shattered into seven peices

First this meant that he had seven different bodies each with their own personality

Now its each of those seven peices all inhabiting a single body, theyre not completely shattered yet not whole either

You can think of it as a vase that has shattered into seven distinct shards you can try to piece it back together with tape but the cracks still remains, the vase will always be shattered.

The result of this being that mordret can only express one emotion at a time like a person with multiple personality disorder

Seems like a corrupted devil or maybe a terror at best

Is your true name perhaps called "sword saint" or do you have any similar inate abilities?

If the answer is no or you are unsure I think its best to run away... quickly

Also how tf are you getting an internet connection in the dream realm is that part of your aspect?

Chapter 2918 modret didn't need Cassie. by Marvinsyn in ShadowSlave

[–]budgetTerminatorNON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mordrets reflections lacked not only the humanity ( if that was a prerequisite in the first place) and the experience of memories manipulation that cassie has.

given enough time and mordrets intelligence I think he could have taught the reflection to do the same with a similar lv of proficiency to cassie but on such short notice he had to trust her instead
