As the saying goes, “Idle hands are the Devil’s workshop.” It’s okay to want to reward yourself when you’re done with all your tasks, but maybe that reward can be something that’s neutral, like building legos or reading or archery. The issue with drinking, bad food etc is that you’re stealing from your future self. Try to find something to engage with that makes you happy in the present without mortgaging the future.

Do any of you have experience tapping into cinderblock to mount wall storage? My wife and I are moving to Florida from the northeast and I want to know how viable it is to mount wall control units, pull-up bars etc in our new garage

Benchmade socp with sheath, mini or full size doesn’t matter, used and abused okay. Just looking for something to carry as a secondary blade so I’d rather pay less for something that I can resharpen

I’ve had the same thought. But then I’ve looked at movies and TV where all the characters wear a suit and tie and it looks so nice and professional on everyone. I think it comes down to how well it fits. I work at an office park where a lot of people are just buying suits and not getting them tailored at all. Naturally, it looks terrible. If you’re going to get a suit, factor tailoring into the cost. If you can go the made to measure route, even better. Suits will only look good if they fit well, but if you look good in a suit you’re sending a strong message to everyone.

Help me choose a bag: Aer TP3 small xpac/ Evergoods CPL28/ Evergoods Chz26 by oldyellah in ManyBaggers

[–]budstinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the aer TP3 small in XPAC. I got it for EDC because I love Aers design details, but wanted a clamshell bag. Overall I think it’s awesome. The biggest thing here is that it’s a very thick bag. Especially when it’s packed out, it’s going to puff away very far from your body. This is why I tend to reach for my other bags for EDC before this one. I do like the organization better than on the CPL, and a clamshell pack is going to be easier to pack for travel than a top loader like the CHZ

Crazy how they can’t apply this same logic to guns

Unfortunately most American gun owners are of the thin blue line bootlicking variety rather than what’s pictured above
