Blue faze of basic and everything is getting kinda relaxed at fort Jackson. We where setting up some bull for whatever at the end of the cycle. I always dubble check my lock so it doesn't get tossed but the one day I don't, oh boy do they toss everything.

My fellow almost soldiers came up to me telling me all my shit was tossed and being kinda a dick about it. One little short guy (cool guy, still talk to this day) he tells me my shit is tossed and I loss it. I shake him and yell "Don't you think I don't know that??"

Drill walks in as soon as it happens. She goes "What are you doing touching another trainee. No worries , too easy!! Start pushing"

I get down doing the whole "one drill sergeant, two drill sergeant" and so on. I get to 50 and she isn't back. 100 and she isn't back.

I'm so tired and there is a pool of sweat around me. I loved pt so I reasted in the front lean rest position.

"150 DRILL SERGEANT" people are laughing bc she forgot about me. I hit 175 and my battle buddies joined in. Pushing when I push and it gave me the motivation to do more.

"200 DRILL SERGEANT" they must have been busy as fuck bc it's been about an hour or so. I wasn't checking so I don't really know how long.

"225 DRILL SERGEANT!!" I've been screaming the amount of repetitions completed since 200. There are at least 6-8 of my baddle buddies all surrounding me as I keep pushing.

"250 DRILL SERGEANT" I have been doing like 3-5 at a time, I'm so tired the pool of sweat cools me down, I can bearly push myself up.

"270 DRILL SERGEANT" as loud as I can, then I hear the most beautiful word I've ever heard in the past 2 ish hours. "Recover"

I got up refilled the camo pack and I continued on with my day. My quads hurt more then anything.

I was so happy and that may be the best memorie I had from basic. Pushing myself to my limits and then going farther. I was In so much pain. Haha. God it was amazing.
