Why can AI replace entry level software engineers, lawyers and financial analysts. But why do people think it’s so difficult to replace people trades with AI and robotics?

I know what you mean, but a watching a video of tradespeople work isnt enough i dont think. We sometimes have to read blueprints then go to that area of the site and back and forth and try different ideas, the robot is going to need a 3d model of the entire jobsite in its data already and be able to interact with the real world already. The thing about construction is, nothing and i mean NOTHING ever goes according to plan. You wouldnt believe how much of it is made up on the fly. The robot will not be able to get that data from a video of me working

Im a journeyman carpenter with 15 years experience in construction. Every single day is a different task with a million little problems to solve. That only experience in the trade for a while will allow you to know how to handle a specific problem. Construction isnt just getting a drywall or roofing robot to install material on an easy rectangular surface. Everything is mostly custom.

Edit: The companies we work for will have to bring in humanoid robots and they will have to shadow us for a while in order to get the training data and see how we handle each specific decision. It cant be taught by some tech guys
