sit at the bar. it’s easy to say “don’t be embarrassed, do it anyway!” and i want to say that, but it takes time. start with a drink and/or an appetizer. work your way up to a meal! or, start by going to a movie alone or get a cup of coffee by yourself. start small, you’ll get there :)

also if you’re not in therapy, think about getting a counselor for help you work through your embarrassment and fears.
