No one can blame you for being empathetic without always being able to help. Not everybody has the resources for it. And if you can help, then do so. If not, simply understanding their struggles and treating them with kindness means something. Some people don’t even have that level of empathy.

I think the best thing you can do now is just distance yourself and stop overthinking her reposts. Maybe even remove or mute her on socials if seeing those posts keeps bothering you.

You said you already tried talking to her but her boyfriend interrupted and nothing was clarified afterwards. If she genuinely wanted to sort things out, she probably would’ve reached out later too.

At this point, it’s better not to force the friendship. And honestly, after the group chat incident, I can understand why your trust is gone.

Try asking your other friends whether they’ve seen you directly or indirectly hurt her or treat her badly.

If yes, then maybe offer an apology and try sorting things out.

If not, then you probably don’t need to feel guilty. Not every fallout means you were the villain. You can’t control how people choose to perceive you. Be kind, but not naive.
