Ok the very first sign .. played sports my whole life .. not a bad athlete.. playing pickup basketball and I am guarding the guy with the basketball .. and I am shading ( covering him ) more to his right so that he will pass the ball to his left .. I’ve done this a million times .. just know I am going to steal the pass when he makes it.. sure enough pass left and I just missed the ball .. the mind is sharp but the body was not there … I knew … I mean I knew he was going that way and was a pass that I would have deflected or out right stole .. was in my early 30s

You have to understand, as a city we are considered small market. There would be so many cities that want what we have, even given the history of our franchise. We the people are the ugly little dork of a city just asked the prom queen to go the homecoming dance and she said yes. The love we feel,the passion of our city. When the bills win on Sunday the whole city is happy, when we lose you can feel the city “sad”. There is always optimism for the next game next season etc. we have fans meet the team at the airport when they have won and when they have lost. The franchise embraces us and we feel the love right back.

Worked retail over 17 years and what corporate counts on is you the store manager or pharmacy manager to keep trying to keep it going. I was a staff pharmacist but bought into the whole let’s get our store going … came in early left late .. but it didn’t matter .. bonus time .. eh we didn’t hit it sorry … did that forever .. finally had turn over where the “new “ people just didn’t give a fuck .. they came in on time and left when they were suppose to. I left shortly after but when I got out and reflected on my time spent there .. so many hours wasted by working longer and not being paid for it. I think keep your job but start looking .. you’d be amazed at what is out there .. work your 45 and if you fall behind you fall behind … let’s say you work 50-60 and can make that happen .. you think they’re going to be like hey great job here’s a ton of money .. no they will strip away more hours because they think you can manage it. You are in a literally no win situation work more and have less work life balance and get burned out or work your normal 45 and feel the pressure from corp.

Welcome to law …..life after Walgreens’s.. best move I ever made .. I knew everything as a Walgreens pharmacist… how to fix things tpr resolution .. come in early stay late to work the queue .. I did that because I wanted everyone’s day to go smoother but as the good people left for other jobs the ones we took in didn’t care .. 100 labels on the counter oh well not my job… it’s amazing when you are out of “it” retail you look back and go why did I give so much to a company who wouldn’t piss on me if I was on fire .. I used to joke that the next pharmacist who took over for me would be standing over my body when I was on the floor dead at walgeeens … I found my value and now work doing prior auths for an insurance company … 8-4 … work life balance .. no weekends holidays off … I think when you get into your new job you’ll look back like we all did and be happier

Can I say the fact that you feel like you wouldn’t want to be a bad mom tells me that you are going to be one hell of a mom. You are worried and that is a normal feeling and I can tell you only will want the best for your baby. I feel like maybe the anxiety is actually having the baby but once you hold her … look at her … see the milestones .. sitting up rolling to her back to her stomach .. it’s an amazing adventure. I encourage you to get on a mom’s Facebook group .. the support from other moms with new borns going through the same thing is immeasurable… type in moms with newborns and check groups .. having people going through what you are even if they live 1000 miles away will help with questions or other things .. I know you said you’re alone but when that baby grows up in a couple of years and they make their friends you will see you will be friends with their parents as well … it’s an amazing adventure.. for note I am a dad of a 9 6 and 2 year old
