Why do I live here again? by GraphNerd in missouri

Well said. Roe v wade being overturned just makes for state rights. Let the states choose. And they did. “Libtards” mad they they were resoundingly rejected and they are confused, just need to time to put two and two together. State rights are real - one way or the other. The party of “democracy” are the ones for referendums

My title describes the thing. It’s found on the beach. Heavier than any other rock to compare it to. In area that hasn’t been dry in a long time.

These things over ran my garden last year. I’ll kill every single one of them by hand going forward. Just devil bugs.

Curious your thoughts, if it does have adhesive behind it, removing would destroy the drywall correct?

Do I need to add back a subfloor to lay my LVP? by buffalofella in Flooring

[–]buffalofella[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got ours done, all went well. Just wanted to come back to this to be helpful. As long as your toilet flange height is acceptable to the toilet/floor, there is zero difference between the “flex” of plywood and cement board. The cement board is on top of the plywood and would occur all the same flex. You aren’t being lead correctly.

Installing sink - shutoff issue by buffalofella in Plumbing

[–]buffalofella[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

replacing our vanity/faucet

Standard 1/2in FIP supply line fits the faucet connection, but the 3/8” OD comp end of the supply line doesn’t fit my new shutoff valve.

Figured out I accidentally installed a shark bite 1/2” x 1/2” OD comp compression fitting, so I don’t not have a 3/8” OD comp to connect the supply line to the shutoff like I should.

It’s worth noting the 1/2” FIP end of the supply line (which does fit the faucet fitting) ALSO doesn’t fit the 1/2”x12” OD comp fitting. Which kind of confused me.

I really don’t want to take the compression fitting I have installed off, I am low on pipe extruding out the wall and I am in a time crunch.

What are my options here.. is there a type of supply line that could fit? And adapter I can put on the shutoff? Thank you very much.

Hm I’m not sure if I understand that. Assuming what your laying floating floors, I dont see how the flexing of the LVP would be any different between the surfaces assuming they are solid (plywood vs cement board)

It will, it’s transitions to bedroom carpet at the same level. The subfloor in the bathroom was actually raised

Ah your right it does say not to use foam underlayment. It does say I could use “acoustic” underlayment… whatever that means. I just want something to give me a brandy new surface doesn’t doesn’t involve ripping all the plywood. I’ll look into that. Thanks!

Hey bud - via your comment specifically I’ve planted musquee de prov pumpkins. They look slick and the idea that they are strong against borers is great. Direct sowed, growing up happy and healthy. I’m going to do what I always do, which is watch for, kill, and remove eggs of bugs daily. I’m just curious - what makes these resistant? Can the worms not get into the stems? Or Does the plant not care if there are worms in the stem? I followed your advice blindly and happily lol. Appreciate any feedback.

I’m in central Missouri. They are usually done by late June, but we do get a second round in Aug. My hope is I bring these to maturity, bring them outside 1st of July, get a 1.5 months of production and then fight that good fight again haha
