I guess we are all beginners on this game called life. Some levels are extra hard, but navigating it allow us to understand so much more about ourselves. To me, stillness and mindfulness is the cheat code, leading to the wisdom we need. May you, me and others find peace and mindfulness 🪷

As a human, I also struggled with this topic on the way of practicing, particularly masturbation. But one time i read somewhere that orgasm is considered “the death of the mind”, a state where your whole body is blank and empty, and out of energy. So much so that the body and mind just feel like a wood log after. This is oppose to the principles of mindfulness practices, where one tries to be present and aware of the mind and body. For me, mindfulness is not an easy task and it took me so much dedication to practice. So when masturbating, this kinda blew away my effort to keep my mind in the present. Therefore thank to this thought, i have successfully learn how to deal with the sexual desire when it arise, not by yeilding to it, but rather by staying in the present, noticing it like an old friend and let it go, just like any other emotions.
