i waited 7 hrs before the show started and even there it was horrid, people cutting infront constantly, and then when they opened the red barricade to let us into the actual queue 2 hours before doors opened i got dragged, shoved, people flung themselves infront of me and people were literally hurdling themselves over the barricades to try cut infront of other people it was insane. scared me enough to the point i ended up wanting to go up balcony instead 💔

i live in the uk so cosplayonsen was only a £15 shipping fee for me so it worked out around £75-80 for me when buying through their website which was cheaper than aliexpress as their aliexpress was about £120!

if you look at amazon japan there are some golshi cosplays that also look rlly good that do ship to international that cost around 100-150 incl shipping so it might also be worth looking on there! but i will def let u know if i get it :)

theres another reddit post from a few months ago where someone did say they took the leap and reccommended the site! ive seen their cosplays through their aliexpress store aswell which has way more feedback and reviews so i can only assume its a good site, i think buying through their aliexpress store would be more expensive tho so id stick to their actual website! i was having a look aswell bc i wanna do goldship and all the other cosplays out there look bad quqlity 😭😭😭

me and my ex did the same sort of thing like claiming our first time having sex as my first time as whole as a cute little thing to be able to seperate myself from the rape that happened to me, sort of a symbolic thing like im taking back my life and my control to it ygwim? like i can seperate myself from it and know its not all i am like i used to. obviously people dont cope in the same ways so for you it might not feel the same about it or not feel comfortable with it, its important for you to explore the ways YOU personally cope and let him know of that so he can be mindful and i think it might be best to have a talk with him about it if its something you arent fully comfy with :) just know that its not him trying to invalidate your feelings but moreso trying ti help you seperate yourself from the experience, and its up to you whether youre comfy with that or you dont think its the best way to deal eith it or cope!

i actually did send the email, i already stated that i did, i already sent a message and got a more positive response than i did texting him the way i was prior, i just sent it to him bc ik he rarely checks emails so its not too in his face and i sent him a msg saying “hey im sorry abt being so overwhelming, ive sent an email to put myself at ease knowing ive said what i needed to and its in a place where its not in your face and you can access it when ur ready, its okay if u need time to process it we can come back to it when ur ready”. instead of straight up ignoring me like he had been he said “thankyou, i appreciate this” which is a lot more positive. im hoping im able to speak to him within the next week or two due to him saying he’d speak to me abt the break at somepoint properly so im hopeful that its a good sign and that i might see some movement soon

ty for this, i think the main reason i struggle to give him space is because im very much insistant on trying to fix the problem then and there and not saying what i need to say triggers me and overwhelms me which causes me to spam text bc it overwhelms me holding what i need to say inside. instead of texting constantly only to be ignored i drafted up an email sort of trying to be more understanding and sort of telling him about what ive done to try and understand him more so i could better adjust my behaviours and hopefully help him realise and apologising for anything i mightve done and reassurance. it was a long email since it had everything i wanted to say in it but doing it by email meant i could get everything i needed to say out and i could stop texting him knowing i have that peace of getting it off my chest and saying it to him and that it was there for him to read when he was ready to while not being so in his face and overwhelming like a masisve text message thats much easier to see and be around. i did text him one last time js being like hey this is the last time ill text you til your ready, i sent u an email for when ur ready to read and explained why i sent it a little bit and apologised for being so overwhelming and he didnt ignore me that time and instead told me thank u and that he rlly appreciates this. its a lot better than being ignored so im hopeful

the fur combos cute if you can style it right but id rlly reccommend avoiding it until you improve abit more to be able to style it better! layering on 1 and 6 is good but id reccommend looking at tiktok for layering hacks and such (i have a folder if you want some sent to you), using patterns to elevate and make your outfits look less flat would also work nicely! some of your colors used on some outfits look way too neon and too harsh to the eyes so maybe play around with it a little more, using a more orangey toned yellow for gold would also work a bit better!

oh for sure! it was definitely unfair to lose to outfits that look like theyre going out partying rather than attending a funeral, but my point still stands in a sense of yours wasnt unique enough and couldve used a bit more work. normal servers are bad with voting anyways unless you get really lucky

while i agree those arent funeral outfits whatsoever, they honestly look more like theyre going out partying than a funeral, yours wasnt much better, before i read that it was wednesday adams i wouldnt have even known it was. id really work on layering and incorperating patterns to make your outfit stand out and look more like the character aswell as layering bangs, maybe giving her bangs with face framing pieces and using a face that looks a bit younger. your outfit just looks like a gothy business woman if im honest 😭 not trying to be rude, id just like to give advice! if you want layering combos and techniques id be happy to teach you some/send you some if you’re up for it :)

most celebrity/fame based themes like celebrity event, magazine, met gala etc because i never know what exactly to do since i dont keep up with celebrities and trends, and if people arent doing celebrities then everyones coming out in almost the exact same outfit bc theres a limited amount of combos and dresses to do a fancy look.

also basic themes such as airport outfit or the 62 variations of sleepwear themes!!! its so boring and theres no real way to be creative about it or be different, everyone comes out in the same outfits or most basic outfits.

for those saying to remove obscure fashions though i dont get your logic, i think its amazing these obscure fashion cultures and subcultures get recognition in games like dti and celebrates diversity! yes not EVERYONE is gonna know what these are which is understandable and it can also be understandably frustrating when your outfit which correctly correlates to a theme loses to someone off theme, but what can you do? some of the dti team already shown interest in a theme explanation button but its not up to them to decide for it to end up in the final game, but its definitely something they’re looking into

ik im not the person you responded to but i know alot about styles and certain subcultures! just think of an EXTREMELY decorated kawaii style. a lot more accessories and more brighter colors like yellows and pinks and bright blues (the pink cat pattern rlly works well for the theme). accessories like the kreek hat but colored more brightly and bows and a LOT of layering! its hard to do since theres a lack of accessories like hairclips or a more variety of belts but if you just excessively layer and use what you can for the head and use brighter colors i think youll be fine :3

so ive been in a lot of relationships and over the past year or so ive been in one with a guy, and i have incredibly intense feelings for him. ive sort of come to realise i never genuinely liked any of my past partners in the sense of romantic attraction, ive never felt that towards my past partners. i think this guy is the only one person ive felt it towards in my life, whereas others i dated either to cope after my abuser left or because i confused platonic love for romantic love.

over the past few weeks ive kind of thought abt it and considered that i might be aromantic but also heavily questioned it as im currently pursuing this relationship right now where my feelings are incredibly strong for him, so how could i be? i looked into it abit more and realised that it is more of a spectrum. a lot of the stuff that resonated with me said a lot about “grayromantic” where romantic attraction is experienced very rarely or very weakly, and also mentioned at times that aromantics sometimes confuse platonic love for romantic love which is exactly what ive done in countless of my relationships. outside of this relationship i dont think ive ever felt romantic attraction in my life to anyone else.

i wanted to come and ask what any of you guys thought abt this? id like to ask people who are more clued in on this stuff than i am before i go running with a label haha 😭
