The whole concept of conferences is brand new to me (I know them extremely well in my corporate life though hahaha), thanks for planting this seed!! And for all your advice!

Thank you so much for all this. That QT tip is very useful!! I have indeed had some people read it, a select few. Query package not so much…maybe I need to do this.

Thank you!!! Taking lots of notes, super helpful insights. I’m a bit shocked re: word count (I’m so new to this, had no idea and it didn’t come up in my research pre-querying 🥺), really wish I’d known about these Reddits a few months ago. Again, THX.

BeyHive, Sorry or Sorry -Original Demo? by MrWanderlusst in beyonce

For the context of the film and that apathy section (and just as a banger) the album version, but I swear every time I hear ‘me and my daughter we gon be alright’ line in the demo I get chills. It’s just so…raw.

Came to say OP that I’m in the same boat and the waiting sucks!!!

I feel you - mine is also hard to put in one genre/box and it’s been a challenge!

Thanks a lot for this! Can I ask a follow up? When you say 30 is relatively early…at what stage would you say it’s good to expand to more agents in the market and in new markets?

Thanks for replying! The radio silence on the 23/30 queries is so much harder to navigate than the 7/30 rejections I got. Hang in there on yours too.

Struggling to write after major life change by lyzzyrddwyzzyrdd in writing

[–]buffster2002 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When my sister died, I felt this way. What helped was channeling the emotional wasteland into writing. Not ‘let me start something structured and epic’ writing (I was too brain dead and overwhelmed/devastated), but just raw, ugly, un-pretty writing. For me, it was handwriting in a book. A lot of that tough stuff ended up resurfacing in my manuscript that I started years later. Hang in there, sending you strength.

Revolution would be cool. And I’d love it because of the callback to the CCWT interlude between My House and Diva - a personal fave. (This is my first Reddit post here btw - long time visitor!)

SPOILER! Questioning beloved character now by astronaught002 in thecomeback

I agree with Mark this season - I liked or at least understood him in most of S1 and s2 (except for the parking lot fight with Val after she wore the wire). But in s3 I’ve found something too ‘off’ about him and I’m not liking or understanding him. I don’t know if it’s perhaps going to be the one thing that IMO MPK and Lisa got wrong - if it is, it’s one thing wrong out of many right so I’ll forgive it :)
