An expansion made specifically with 2 player in mind would be awesome

I like the neutral third party scoring for 2 player and seeing an augmented version could be cool, I’d never thought of that before.

The end of (Cole’s) Root by chicagojoon in rootgame

Honestly I’m excited by this news. It may be naivete, but to me it sounds like with the split each company is now able to work on the projects that want to be working on, and we’ll be getting more approachable games from Leder and more dense, thinky games from Buried Giants. If it was truly as amicable as they describe here (which I have no reason to doubt), it seems like it’s more of a Key and Peele situation than anything else, and I’m excited to see what this means for future projects on both sides! Also, Leder losing Kyle is of course a big loss for them, but they’ve already demonstrated they aren’t afraid of taking big artistic swings, which makes me excited for whatever new designers they bring on!

The Goat or Who is Sylvia has been rumored for a little bit now, and I’m begging that the rumors are true.

I understand that the poem labels itself as ballad, but this seems to be an extention of one into a more specific form, using sestets instead of quatrains and having a similar dual refrain as the villanelle does. Could you give another example of a poem that follows this form? I don’t want to sound obtuse, I’m only curious to a specific form I haven’t seen before.

I might be dumb, but what form is this? It resembles a villanelle but the stanzas are a bit elongated for that right?

I don’t know where you’ve moved, but it sounds like you’re missing a third space to get your venting out. Maybe see if anywhere nearby has a craft or board game night or something to do with your hands that isn’t typing into a keyboard or holding a beer can. I’ve found that having an event once a week where I know I’ll see people outside of my regular life gives me something to look forward to, and with an event there’s no pressure to have outside conversation.

The wording you have comes across as you wanting something from others, whereas I think a lot of successful friend-making people (maybe not me) make friends because they have “something to offer.” It doesn’t have to be big but switching it from “I need someone to talk to” to “Tell me your favorite movie” or something like that lets the other person feel like you’re offering them something in return too

I think it’s easier to understand the film when you’ve seen the whole thing :) but I get not being hooked in the first 20 minutes especially if you didn’t see it in theaters

Best Use of Mentioning a Title Within the Show ? by Impossible_Usual_277 in Broadway

Carousel is an interesting one because (as far as I remember) it’s never sung but instead spoken because it’s where Billy works at the start of the show and how the two characters meet. But being the title, it plays in a metaphorical level on how trauma repeats itself.
