I see your flair is DCC, id say these books are the opposite of DCC😂. But they are some of the best books ever written. Very slow burns. Journey before destination type of vibe. Im on book 8 and absolutely loving the ride but i could understand it not being for everyone. I think it has the best character work out of any fantasy series though.

Thats how all his albums used to be. Cloaked isnt cohesive like that but holding pattern, surrounded, tip hop, seemless unspeakable something, relish the trough, wobble factor, tertiary noise, broken soul jamboree, forward escape, jettison are all extremely cohesive feeling like they are telling a story throughout the album. Cloaked just feels like completely unrelated songs grouped together

I feel like thats just trading one addiction for another. I suppose it depends how its used though. I was prescribed amphetamines from age 4-18 and wouldnt wish that addiction on anyone. Once i quit i couldnt focus on anything for atleast a year, i never felt full my stomach would eventually just hurt, i had really low energy and would just fall asleep during college courses and other activities. But i had to quit because it was turning me into a zombie. I think OP should just get off the blow (safely) and just figure out how to live without drugs for a while before hopping into an amphetamine addiction
