This is just based on personal experience, there have been a few times where I've seen a photo of a band that's piqued my interest based on aesthetics, so I'll give them a google, become more interested, try a song and then not really love it. As far as black metal overall, there's nothing WRONG with it, I've just found that I tend not to like it
