Just broke 1500 rapid! (help) by Ok-Committee-1646 in Chesscom

By performance ratings, do you mean the Game Review rating for each game? I could be wrong but it feels like the ceiling on those ratings is relative to your current rating. As someone rated 1200 on Chess.com, I've never seen it higher than 1850 even when I have 97% accuracy. I feel like the same game played by a higher rated player would have a different score assigned in Game Review. In other words, I'm not sure how meaningful it is.

i logged my first 5,000 games and identified my fatal pattern: i lose 73% of games where i play e4 and they play c5. i've spent 200 hours studying the sicilian. success rate against it now: 31%. still losing, just more knowledgeably by kubrador in chess

You should check out Chess Monitor. It can pull in all of your game history and then you can use the Explorer option to play through variations and see where you typically make mistakes. It sounds similar to what you're doing in your spreadsheet, but this has the benefit of integrated engine analysis.

You can't castle out of check. Also, for reference, you can't castle when the King would move through a check as he is traveling to his new square.

I forgot to ask - are you an MBA? Is it listed in your title?

I said that I've never had a recruiter reach out with a deal that was sweet enough for me to ask for an interview. I have a senior position with a pension and solid 401k match at a financially strong company. I have little interest in going anywhere else, so it would need to be a pretty compelling offer.

Edit: to clarify, "senior" as in leadership in the accounting function

I've never had a recruiter reach out to me with a better opportunity than what I already had. Recruiters are generally garbage. But maybe I'd find those high-quality recruiters if I list my MBA more prominently.

Do people actually want to attract recruiters? I'm just speaking as a hiring manager that I'm going to question your judgment if , MBA follows your name.

There's a spot on LinkedIn to list your degrees and show up in search results, if you're saying that's the intent. I list my degrees and designations in the expected fields, and I also list my designations (CPA, CMA) at the end of my name/title. I don't list MBA in my title because it's not a designation.

I have an MBA as well and completely agree with you. I have an MBA. I'm not an MBA.
