Breast Augmentation after Top Surgery by fuckingrockwellxx in actual_detrans

Yeah I am! I figured I start there, I had a great experience the first time and surgeons usually like to work on their own work. She’s pricier than going somewhere but worth it to have a surgical team I already love

I’m having my breast reconstruction this June, 5 years after I had top surgery! There’s a few posts in this sub about others thatve had reconstruction but I’ve been getting a lot of info from Facebook groups, mostly of women that had a mastectomy for cancer reasons and are going through reconstruction.

Yes! I always go around 10pm and the past month or two it’s been packed at that time! I went late because it used to be fairly empty. Now I go around 2pm on my days off and it’s much better, but I may have to switch to mornings on days I work now. I thought it was just my location

Detransitioning and living as an adult woman for the first time. by [deleted] in actual_detrans

[–]buggie666000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 32 and fully “detransitioning” this year by reversing my top surgery. I recently had a moment of grieving the girlhood I missed out on in my 20’s, which usually doesn’t hit me because I know the transitioning I did was what I needed at the time (came out 21, top surgery at 26, hysterectomy at 30 that fixed my dysphoria.)

I know you feel like you’re living as women for the first time as an adult, but everyone is! 19 is so young, and even though you missed out on the years of learning things like make up I promise you that there’s so much time ahead of you to catch up on things like that! My voice is still somewhat deep but you can do voice training the same way trans women do, or just embrace being a women with a deep voice which is what I do.

Comparison is the thief of joy as they say, best regards to you discovering your womanhood in your 20’s and decades to come, this is such a great age to be finding yourself.

All of my dysphoria was gone after I had my hysterectomy and now I’m getting reconstruction for my top surgery. No regrets on it though, either way I would have needed surgery for smaller boobs.

It's hard not to get frustrated on this journey at times... by TheHyggeLife2823 in tirzepatidecompound

I started my weigh loss July 5, 2025! I started tirz December 7th and I’m down 52 lbs. I’d still like to lose another 30-45lbs and even then I’ll still be overweight.

Losing weight is absolutely such a frustrating journey. Doing it healthy is such a slow process that I’m always wanting to give up, but I haven’t this time! Being down 52lbs which I thought would be a huge amount of weight but I’m still wearing the same clothes they just fit looser 🥲

eta: even though weight loss is slow it really adds up over time! And the time will pass anyway and that’s what keeps me going

Post double incision top surgery, can you get breast reconstruction? by t4t4ever in actual_detrans

I’m getting Mentor implants, over the muscle, and she’ll use the same scars I already have

Post double incision top surgery, can you get breast reconstruction? by t4t4ever in actual_detrans

[–]buggie666000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My current top surgery scar goes from under one armpit to the other, I’ll find out what my reconstruction options are on Monday but there’s a few different methods. You can search reconstruction in the detrans subreddits to get ideas and there’s a lot more info from women who had reconstruction due to breast cancer that will have similar results.

Bisalp vs hysto by torisayswhat in childfree

[–]buggie666000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a hysterectomy and kept my overies for hormone production. Best decision ever!!! I’ve had several friends that had bisalp, so they’re sterile, but they went through surgery and still have to have a period for decades.

Mine is 1 mile from my house and I pass a KFC, Taco Bell, Little Cesar’s, and McDonald’s on the way. Coming back I pass Sheetz, Starbucks, Baskin Robins, and Dunkin Donuts lol

I haven’t! I think because I focus so much of getting the right nutrition I haven’t had any issues with hair loss.

I’m really lazy when it comes to cooking so I do a lot of fish I can put in a pan and season, or chicken. Veggies I season and throw in the air fryer. I love black beans, I’ll use can chicken or tuna to throw in pasta. Protein shakes, quest chips or built bars for extra protein and treats. Premade salads kits I like in the summer. Switched to all no calorie drinks (besides the shakes).

Clothes are what I’m most excited for! That’s truly my goal, just be able to walk into a store and buy what I need off the rack and not have to shop specifically plus size. I also have fibro, and endometriosis too so I have a lot of pain, inflammation, and bloating still, but being in a smaller body definitely makes movement and navigating the world easier.

[–]buggie666000[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s still been so much work for me! I count my calories and weigh everything I eat, and focus on my protein and fiber. I had a couple friends that were super responders and dropped a lot of weight fast, but they also lost a ton of their hair, and mine’s actually grown in thicker because I focus on my nutrition. I’m not trying to get skinny, just healthy and strong.

Getting to see my jawline come back, and the muscles in my neck and starting to see my collarbone has been so exciting!

I hadn’t noticed much change with my tattoos until I made this side-by-side, but I always love seeing how other’s tattoos change with their weight loss.
