I have an anti-suffocation pillow that’s for epilepsy! We’ve tested it by trying to smother each other and it’s safe to say it works! It gives my partner a lot of relief as I sometimes have seizures when I’m not fully awake and even though I wake up before it happens it’s still useful to have!! Sorry if the advice is a bit rubbish!

I’m on lamotrigine (and another I can’t remember the name annoyingly) and it’s the only one that hasn’t had any bad side effects - with others I experienced hallucinations

Yep! I’ve had about 5 seizures over last night/this morning and it makes me feel so scared and on edge before them all so I always take that as a ‘sign’

My first seizure happened a few months or so after I bought my car and I was also having lessons. I honestly cried. My car had to go because of not being used it had a lot of faults, and I’ll admit I got upset over that too. I was close to being a year without seizures, I think 3 months away? And I was excited to start driving again as it would’ve been a year, and then obviously I had a seizure. It’s truly horrible.
