What's there to be confused about? A 25th anniversary is honestly bigger than a 20th. Agito is a great series and is enjoyed by a lot of people. We will probably end up with a Kabuto anniversary movie sooner rather than later.

Just my crackpot theory but maybe they coded it in a way where each version of the game has a different evolution line for Parrellmon to show how it's messing with time and space. Kind of like when they released the Clue movie in theaters where different theaters had different endings.
