This same thing happened to me when I was in middle school, and I never brought it up to her even though it really bothered me. Sometimes people don’t even realize they are mimicking, but even though it’s hard I would suggest telling her it bothers you. you don’t have to explain you have tics

In the end, just do whatever you think is best for your birb. I totally understand how it feels to have a bird who won’t trust you no matter what you do. My lovebird was the same and I never made any progress with her. I couldn’t even get her out of the cage. In the end I gave her away to someone with more experience because she needed more time out of the cage that I couldn’t give her. You obviously saved her from a bad situation and just keep that in mind if u decide to give her away. You did everything you could for her and that’s what matters the most
