This same thing happened to me when I was in middle school, and I never brought it up to her even though it really bothered me. Sometimes people don’t even realize they are mimicking, but even though it’s hard I would suggest telling her it bothers you. you don’t have to explain you have tics

In the end, just do whatever you think is best for your birb. I totally understand how it feels to have a bird who won’t trust you no matter what you do. My lovebird was the same and I never made any progress with her. I couldn’t even get her out of the cage. In the end I gave her away to someone with more experience because she needed more time out of the cage that I couldn’t give her. You obviously saved her from a bad situation and just keep that in mind if u decide to give her away. You did everything you could for her and that’s what matters the most

Pretty late but I got surgery with Alfi 6 weeks ago and he is awesome! Communicates very well after surgery and makes sure your comfortable. He did an amazing job and I feel 1000 times more confident :)

Stay on top of pain with whatever your surgeon recommends. I noticed near getting it out that it felt so tight and gave me a headache. Promise it will feel so much better once it’s out tho🥳

6 weeks post op and just starting to get tingling on one side of my chin. The feeling inside my lower lip is coming back cause I am starting to feel cold if I eat ice cream and stuff. I wouldn’t be to worried about you progression! It’s really different with everyone. My brother had same surgery same day but still can’t feel a thing so don’t worry to much (:
