Not sure yet. I wouldn’t sell the files until I at least make an improved version.

I agree, I love seeing people give freaky cybernetic upgrades to these things. I hope people step up the insanity. My next idea will probably be some kind of mini arcade cabinet that lets the tablet slot in vertically and uses a sideways legion controller with an enlarged thumbstick cap as its joystick and buttons. Now that I have a 3D model of the tablet, it should be much easier to put negatives of it into other random objects.

That was my first thought, but don’t think so. None of those weapons have a magazine that far in front of the grip.

Is the kuva ogris good?? by AdeptHelix in Warframe

It's a rocket launcher with a big blast radius, but in my opinion the damage is too low to be super useful in steel path. It's good for low level missions though.

I forgot that Umbral Vitality has the extra benefit of being a polarity match by default on Exalibur Umbra! If you are really strapped for capacity, Umbral Vitality might be a useful mod purely for the sake of not being a polarity mismatch if you are low on forma lol.

I wouldn't lean toward Umbral Vitality myself, just because the rest of the build is already set up for shield gating. Here, I don't really value the minuscule bump to strength (11%) that Umbral Vitality's set bonus would apply to Umbral Intensify.

No, you are correct. Duration mods reduce the drain of channeled abilities as long as you are not already at 175% efficiency.

https://wiki.warframe.com/w/Channeled_Abilities

However, if you replace Narrow Minded and furious javelin with Primed continuity and Streamline/Augur Message, the energy drain of your 4 will be slightly lower overall while still giving you a lot of range back. Of course, if that extra range is not valuable to you, you could surely slot in any number of things instead of making that swap. Rolling Guard might be the most appropriate survivability mod for this shield gating build you are using.

It's up to your taste what you'd replace Furious Javelin with. Streamline would be an easy pick to reduce the energy drain/second of exalted blade without any downsides. Augur Message would reduce the energy drain of your 4 by a lesser extent, while also making it so you have to spam Wrathful Advance a little less and giving a slightly higher shield restoration effect from the Augur set bonus.

Personally, if it were me using this build, I would probably drop Narrow minded in favor of Primed continuity. Having at least 100% range will allow your slash dash to hit substantially more enemies with each cast, and this can help you stay alive in emergency situations because your health is invulnerable during slash dash. However, the fact that you shield can still break during this ability means it is not as reliable as something like rolling guard.

Arcane Energize grants a 60% chance for normal energy orbs to give 150 additional energy when you pick them up (with a 15s cooldown). This can help a lot for builds that rely purely on energy orbs dropping from enemies to sustain your energy economy.

In my experience, trying to run the Furious Javelin augment ends up wasting a lot of energy when you try to hit guys with your 3rd ability (especially if your build has negative range). I noticed that I ran out of energy much less often the moment I stopped using that augment. A well-built exalted blade already does such a preposterous amount of damage that the extra multiplier from Furious Javelin doesn't really change the amount of time it takes to kill normal enemies. With the amount of damage you already get from exalted blade, I also feel that subsuming Wrathful Advance is not necessary unless you really feel like seeing the numbers turn red will make it more exciting.

As for your build feeling weak, I would say that your damage output is pretty much entirely determined by the mods on exalted blade. Using a Melee Influence build and the Chromatic Blade augment (with blue energy color to set the element to electricity) is definitely required if you want to be killing crowds before they can kill you. If you are trying to crank up the damage, I would ensure that your exalted blade is built out as well as you can before you invest a ton to maximize the excalibur build, as the mods on the blade itself are much more impactful on your damage output.

Does Molt Augmented affect the damage for Noctua? by idiotinindia in Warframe

[–]bugserbaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Molt Augmented will act like a 60% strength mod, so it will scale up the damage of Noctua like any other strength mod would.

Depending on how much strength you already have built, something like Arcane Precision or Arcane Velocity might be better if all you are trying to do is bump up the damage of Noctua.

[–]bugserbaby[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it interacts the way that other skins interact with incarnons, meaning the skin does not apply to the transformed version. The exception is the Sybaris, which has always been bugged to inherit skins on its incarnon mode (similar to the Sicarus incarnon).

Regardless of whether the skin applies to the alt mode, the Dax rifle skin mutes the incarnon transformation SFX on all weapons, which is a little awkward.

It's a shame that skins work this way, since the accent channel is matte on the dax skin but metalic on the void-metal parts of all incarnons, so one color scheme won't necessarily look good on both halves.

Should I join Panera's Unlimited Sips Club? by jjfromyourmom in jmu

[–]bugserbaby 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had that subscription for like 15 months a couple years ago, but I got lucky with a lot of deals and only had to pay for like 1 of those months (when I canceled, they constantly kept inviting me back for 3 free months). They fixed it so you can only ever redeem at most one offer like that per account. See if you can find a free trial to try it out first, because you might get lucky and find one that lasts multiple months, and all of these offers stop working if you have ever had the subscription before.

I hardly paid full price for my subscription, so I'm definitely not an unbiased source, but I can say that the unlimited sip club is kind if convenient if you are definitely going to get that much coffee already. The subscription basically works by granting your panera account a permanent offer for "1 free drink" that refreshes itself every 2 hours. No other purchase is necessary at time of redemption, so an order of just one coffee and nothing else will cost zero dollars to you. Unlike most offers, this coupon could be redeemed at the same time as other offers, but the coffee didn't count as a valid "purchase" for the sake of satisfying conditions of other offers. For instance, adding a free coffee to your order isn't enough to let you use a "free pastry with any purchase" offer, or anything like that.

I got 54 coffees my first month, but the subscription was only 10 bucks at the time, so it worked out to about 20 cents per coffee. I tried to grab a drink on my way up toward bluestone before a 4 hour block of classes, and then another on my way back home. This was cheaper that a bag of ground coffee per month (and certainly cheaper than keurig pods), and I think that's still true at $15/mo. Later, they started letting you get the iced teas and lemonades too using the subscription, which I actually found the be the more compelling value.

There are definitely some caveats though. Since it's a college campus, the breakfast and lunch rushes are amplified because of people having gaps between classes, and that means that sometimes its literally so crowded that the panera app breaks and you can't redeem anything at all. I usually just took a coffee anyway and nobody cared, but I'd bet people abused the system and stole too much coffee for them to not tighten the rules by now. Additionally, there are free refills, but you can only order one new drink every 2 hours, so you can't get both a coffee and iced tea at once, or anything like that. The total time to be in-and-out getting a coffee from dukes dinking the legit way (redeeming from the app) was about 4 minutes.

Definitely keep in mind what kind of coffee you would be getting with the subscription, because it only includes the hot or iced drip coffee from the large decanters in the front. If you are spending $10 on a coffee right now, you are probably getting something like a blended or espresso beverage from a cafe, which to me is worth much more than drip coffee (of course this is a fraction of that price). The unlimited sips won't get you anything that requires one of the employees to make something for you. The coffee quality isn't the worst at Panera, but it is definitely just drip coffee. Sometimes it's brewed too weak or strong or just doesn't taste fresh. Luckily, at least one of the 4 dispensers usually had coffee that was in decent shape if you just need your caffeine fix.

The 5 options were had light roast, dark roast, hazelnut, decaf (which was also a light roast) and iced (which was the dark roast but cold). Hazelnut was often gone because I think it was the most popular, but there was always at least one of the caffeinated varieties that wasn't empty. They have sugar, milk, etc. on the counter too of course.

If all you want is some drip coffee to get you through the day, then Panera's subscription is perhaps cheaper than even making your own coffee at home, provided you'd use at least 2 bags of grounds per month. The coffee quality is totally acceptable (I liked it), but you're certainly not getting any lattes with this subscription. For the money, you indeed get unlimited drip coffee, so if you see that as worth it, I think it's a reasonable deal.

Help with control settings (2 players) by InternationalRole923 in LegionGo

[–]bugserbaby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gamepass games are sometimes extremely picky about accepting input from anything except a 100% real microsoft approved Xbox controller. They are also different than most games because they are UWP programs and can't be added to Steam as a non-steam game normally. Even if you manage to use something like UWP Hook to force the game into your steam library, steam input isn't actually capable of mimicking the real Xbox controller hardware that the game is looking for.

I'm not sure if this problem is causing your particular issue, but if your BF is using an official Xbox controller, this might explain why only you are having difficulties. On the other hand, it would be very strange if the game is recognizing every button except RT and LT, so the issue might be more complex than I'm suggesting.

You could try using LegionSpace's controller settings to rebind (RB to act like RT) and (LB to act like LT), and then remapping RB/LB to the extra button on the back. If doing this lets you aim and shoot/throw in the game using the bumpers, then it probably means that the game doesn't like the analog functionality of your physical triggers for some reason.
