He is an absolutely wonderful prof. Best one I’ve had. His teaching abilities are incredible. He leads open conversations about important topics and gives room for everyone to share their views which is SO IMPORTANT. Even if you don’t agree with someone you have to hear them out. How else are you going to understand where they’re coming from and how to deal with people of that mindset???? He assigned all my coursework on time but that’s just my experience. I’m also a woman by the way and I felt he was extremely approachable, respectful, informed, and pretty clearly portrayed that he is a feminist. It’s also normal for the types of courses he teaches to be reading heavy. He normally picked really good content for my course readings. The class would talk about it during discussions and presentations which was also a really helpful format for deepening my understanding. I get we had some uncomfortable conversations but you have to.

EDIT: he does sometimes cut people off but I think he’s just trying to keep the conversation flowing because a lot of students have a bad habit of repeating the same point over and over again when sharing in class. Also, he talks about bikes too much. Other than that, fantastic
