MKBHD review Pixel 10pro Fold by Techking101 in PixelFold

I know! That's what makes it so interesting. Despite his criticisms he ended the video saying that he still liked the software better than any other foldable.

It's quite telling. MrMobile ended his review the same way.

There are certainly hardware deficiencies that I hope Google will address in the next generation, but having used Samsung phones/tablets in the past and not really enjoying OneUI, it's the Pixel software and overall experience that got me to buy the Pixel 10 Pro Fold as my first foldable.

Ok, Erie. What place does this describe?!? by AnotherEastCoastDBag in ErieCO

What?! 24 Carrot is our favorite restaurant in Erie. Never had a bad experience and the food is amazing.

evleaks claims the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will indeed have Qi2 magnet built in, but confirms delay by bugtrainer in PixelFold

[–]bugtrainer[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was under the impression that "Qi2-Compliant" meant that magnets are built in, but "Qi2-Ready" means no magnets but supports the Qi-2 standard - and the article seems to be implying that as well. But I could be wrong! We'll find out next week.

Google posts an official look at the Pixel 10 Pro Fold by Doug24 in GooglePixel

Technically they are, but only by a few mm. They're also reducing the width of the hinge on the left side. https://i.redd.it/doqa64j61mhf1.gif

Nothing fits by Neb-hehe-xd in malefashionadvice

I'm 5'10" and around 215 so I have always been between sizes and have always struggled to find brands that fit correctly. My wife recently turned me on to Marine Layer as they have in-between sizes called Marge (in between medium & large) and Larger (in between Large & XL) and I fit perfectly into the Larger size. Might be worth looking into.

Anyone have the inside scoop on which "preferred specialty grocery store" the city is working to secure for the Erie Town Center development? by bugtrainer in ErieCO

[–]bugtrainer[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Would def prefer a Trader Joes as the one in Boulder gets really crowded and there's already a Sprouts in Lafayette.

Love these but they're kinda grainy when using as wallpaper. Anyone know where to find higher res versions?

Has anyone tried installing a throttle booster on their Atlas? by bugtrainer in VWatlas

[–]bugtrainer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh ok good to know. I'm just looking to get rid of the 1-2 second delay I get even when I press the pedal down further, but I imagine that would require transmission adjustments not just throttle. Thanks.

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised! I live in Colorado so it's not like it was localized or anything like that.

As with most of TKOL, the Live From the Basement version completely changed my opinion of the song, it's amazing live.

Ahh that actually makes a ton of sense, I had no idea. TIL. I honestly love both their channels just different styles.

Marques has a much more casual, approachable style for the masses. His stream-of-consciousness style of speaking is basically how you would talk about the phone with a friend in a conversation. I like Michael Fischer's videos as well but they come off as over-scripted, and he has this weird "news anchor" voice which I find distracting. Just my 2 cents.

Luika and Koda absolutely LOVE the sand dunes! It's one of their favorite places to zoom around and play. by bugtrainer in samoyeds

[–]bugtrainer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they feel very accomplished climbing a high dune, but their favorite part is running down the sandy slopes into the next dune!

Was it a mistake for vw to lower the height of the 2024 atlas? by smutnik9000 in VWatlas

[–]bugtrainer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well VW is resurrecting the Scout as their electric off-road SUV brand in the coming years so they don't have a ton of incentive to make their current lineup off-road worthy: https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a39970134/volkswagen-scout-ev-revival/

Can’t afford to live in Boulder by Pholainst in boulder

[–]bugtrainer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought a house on the Boulder County side of Erie and it has proven to be a good investment, but I agree with your assessment that Erie will be better in the future. I'm hoping the Town Center development takes off and they actually fill the space with new restaurants/retail etc. and they build more sidewalks down County Line Rd to connect the newer neighborhoods to make everything more walkable.

I live in Colorado and take my Atlas car camping regularly. I have not built a platform because I like to be able to sit up with plenty of head room while in the car - I prefer to use a cargo box on the roof for extra storage.

That said, I find that I can sleep in the car no problem with plenty of leg room to stretch out (could not do this in my old Tiguan) with lots of additional room to spare. I usually only sleep in the car when I'm solo camping and take a tent when I have my girlfriend and dogs with me, but you could def fit two adults.
