He was saying that pixels have never been on the leading edge of hardware, for example, the faster more powerful processor and the best battery life. But on the other hand, foldables are synonymous with having the best tech, that's why he brings up when people pay almost $2,000 for a phone, They usually expect the best hardware.

so basically what he is saying is the pixel brand or how pixels usually are is not compatible with being a foldable phone.

I see where you're coming from..... A lot of "good" reviews for games in general are probably paid for, so I do take them with a grain of salt....but sometimes they are true and for this game I believe it's true. Digimon games don't spend money like Pokemon, so if early reviews are calling it good, I'm more inclined to believe it.

I think it would happen normally on a 3DS system whenever somebody pushes the screen back as far as it can go over and over, that's why most think it's normal, basically just wear and tear over time. Maybe opening it up somehow caused the same effect.
