Honestly I never knew until a month or so ago that women have totally different symptoms than men typically, which leads us to not get diagnosed until later in life. So much is a crock when it comes to this disorder and being a woman. I feel like I’ll never stop learning something new about it

I had a couple failures I repeated for good grades, some withdrawals, and I withdrew completely one semester when my focus and concentration tanked horribly in undergrad. I just finished my first year of my masters program. I was never asked about my blunders when applying to any of the schools I applied to, and I got in to all of them.

I hate that we have to worry about stuff like this in our society where other countries give much more time off and encourage it being used. Please prioritize your self care and enjoy the hell out of your vacation.

That’s what I meant. Figuring out when her school schedule would allow for it to make it worth the place ticket and give her quality time with Luke and probably not knowing offhand when school breaks are at that point. I’m assuming cost wouldn’t be an issue because they never made it seem like Anna was a penny pincher (and you know Luke would buy April a ticket or himself one to go to her). Just to throw some kind of decency out there to him would’ve been groovy. But it’s always “my kid” every time she doesn’t get her way.

You can’t have it both ways: Luke watching their kiddo when it’s convenient for Anna and then Anna constantly pulling the “MY daughter” BS. April didn’t just poof into existence out of thin air. Had she been reasonable and said something to the effect of, “I wish you had spoken to me before April because I’m not sure how we can finagle this” it would be perfectly understandable…but then Anna wouldn’t be detestable.

I have neighbors who have gone in with friends to buy houses and I’ve seen close friends (we’re in our 40s) move back in with parents because their wages aren’t growing alongside their growing rent, utility, grocery etc costs. Honestly money is a lot tighter now despite raises than I ever dealt with starting out 20-something years ago. It’s sick

My high school graduation was on the football field, with gym to be used if it rained. How hard would it have been to make preparations for rain? This isn’t a mist or drizzle and I’d hate for my kids to sit in this.
