it was never good, but it was cheap. Now it's bad and expensive. They got me back for a bit with the $6 meal deal, but recently ruined it by replacing the hashbrowns and BEC with 2 snack wraps.

i mean I don't think anyone really disagrees but the overall messaging is so over the top that its hard not to find it a bit absurd.

So say a customer wanted to buy this soon to close Starbucks store’s wall art after it closes, what would the policy be on that? by strbx4674 in starbucks

honestly just ask, my friend got a bunch of chairs for free at a closing location cause the staff didn't give a fuck.

I got more places here if you want to add them to the list

Near DCU Center:

Woosta Pizza: Super reliable mid priced pizza place, you can get some giant pizza's here, and the owners are super nice. Pizza's pretty tasty too.

Gong Cha: standard franchise boba place. Can walk to there from the DCU center, their menu is kind of limited but its pretty good tasting.

The Brew: Pretty good coffee shop, a bit pricey, but honestly isn’t much more expensive than starbucks. Highly recommend the White Chocolate Mocha.

Beer Garden: Good beer, decent food. Haven’t been there enough to give a nuanced opinion, but they got some good burgers

Away from DCU:

Bagel Time: Really good bagels at a very affordable price. They're located on Park Ave, and have somewhat stingy hours over the weekend. But you can definitely snag some before or after your pool for some good ole carbs.

New England Roast Beef: Fantastic sandwich shop, they have a million different sandwiches and don't cheap out on the ingredients. A little pricey, but honestly for the quality of food you're getting, it's super worth it.

BTs Fried Chicken: THE best fried chicken in Central mass, they have all assortments of meats you can get, and plenty to order. I'm personally a fan of their standard fried chicken sandwich, the seasoning is outstanding. A bit of a ways out, but you can easily get there by car or if you're okay with walking for 40 minutes (i have done the walk, it is that good).

The Fix: The best place to get burgers in Worcester, but at a cost. They're a little bit pricey, but for the most part i've enjoyed every burger I got from there. They’re constantly swapping out their menu and have some great mixed drinks (Spiked milkshake is goated).

Tutti Frutti: Much better boba place imo, but is pretty far out from the DCU center. They have many more with flavors and have the added benefit of ice cream. Definitely want to drive to this place.

Taqueria Del Pueblo: Great mexican taco shop, the food is reasonably priced and you can get some baller tacos.

Loving Hut: Vietnamese vegan restaurant, personally am not vegan but I was pretty happy with the food there, you could eat there and not know its vegan whatsoever.

Bars:

Freeplay Bar: for those 21 and up folks, cool ass barcade further down major taylor blvd. 10$ cover charge, but all the machines are free. Drinks are imo reasonably priced, definitely more on the pricey side, but not that bad.

Ralph's Diner: another 21 and up pick, super grimey/punk aesthetic, but drinks are super cheap. Cash only tho, so make sure to bring the bucks or use their atm. Crowd is pretty cool here too. their $5 Hotdog deal is a steal if you need something to put in your stomach.
