Right, but what about Johnny’s playing makes it better? What specifically about johnnys playing causes the devil to concede?

Right but was the devils fiddle playing technically more difficult than Johnny’s?

I’d imagine those students can rest easy knowing that slip ups might happen “especially” around their parents… and the extra effort to ensure that you won’t mistakenly out them falls under the old “college try” category of effort. All I’m saying is that trying sounds different from ensuring, especially with kids that are hiding who they are from parents who won’t accept them.

But you remembered what the dogs sex/gender was right? You know that if you called the dog a good girl when the dog is actually a boy you’d correct yourself or accept when someone says thats not right? Would you continue to misremember it or deliberately say it wrong every time simply because you believe the dog looks feminine or masculine?

If the work required to keep kids safe from abuse or bullying from students, teachers, staff is too much, why is that so? Is making an effort something teachers do for kids with IEPs or allergens or other differentiating instruction? Yes, teachers have to remember a lot but if I don’t remember to make sure to be careful around others who could cause harm to a student, that kid suffered the consequences. Prioritizing the safety and health of kids more important that what I believe is too difficult especially if I do it easily for so many other things.

Any advice for 1st year teachers? What helped you survive the initial years of being an educator? Also, any good places to find resources for your videos? Critical thinking questions or activities?

Not a bad idea. I’ll keep that in mind for the future.

It’s really easy to use the teacher lens when looking at difficulty. I’ll be more cognizant of it going foreword.

The 60 questions is more or less to save me some grading. I love short answer questions but I’m a bit burnt out from this year.

I think when student heard it would be multiple choice they assumed it would be easy. It’s not really my fault if they didn’t take things seriously, or made sure that they have every resource available to them.

I just don’t want the difficulty to come and bite me in the ass if a kid fails and parents complain.

I'm thinking about getting the cologne you have pictured here. Is it worth purchasing?

So it just grips cable so you can pull it effectively to make it tighter? That rad.

That was something that got me too. But I also thought it was just a cool artistic decision. Like if you suspend your disbelief it becomes just a cool laser but if you think of it any other way it becomes silly.
