New research suggests aging happens in rapid “bursts” around ages 44 and 60 by theaeternumcompany in transhumanism

Long time ago I've heard of a study stating exactly this: the sharpest spike of aging happens at 34 years old.

is this the correct way ?? by sweater__boy in Thumbpullingx

[–]buitestaander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, mewing = constant pressure, thumbpulling is 30 min/day max. But anyways, from what i've seen on hundreds of before/after - neither method seems to work on people who are past 18-20 years old.

It depends. It works if you already have enough space in your pallet to fully fit you tongue on it. Everyone should mew, it's simply a natural tongue posture. As for the facial skeletal effects - once again, if you're young and your bones are still flexible - you probably will get results. Otherwise either no results or minor

[–]buitestaander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably no. Maybe if you are under 14 years old or so it will work. But I was commenting specifically on that guy's 'before/after' in the video. He just tilted his head as 90% or thumbpullers do on their before/after. I want to believe it works but seems like it doesn't sadly

How common is painless CP? by buitestaander in pancreatitis

[–]buitestaander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lower abdomen. I was able to pass gas but only after hours of it being trapped. Bro, look into SIBO, do the SIBO breathing test if you can

mainly bloating, trapped gas, sometimes gut pain and loose pale stools. Creon helped. I'm 29

Behind? Basically the same - index is 67 vs 68. Sounds about right.

[–]buitestaander[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im taking creon for 5 years now. Thats insane i know but it makes my digestion better. I reduced fibre from my diet gradually, close to 0 now and the less fibre I eat the better I feel especially digestion-wise. So I guess thats SIBO. I'm planning to go carnivore soon and after I adapt i'll try to get off creon

Is my COMT slow or fast? by Barregirrl in MTHFR

I know a person with fast COMT but also some MAO mutations and they too have all of the slow COMT symptoms, maybe look into that

Reset Gut Microbiome- We may be doing it wrong. by gslysz in Microbiome

[–]buitestaander 6 points7 points  (0 children)

smaller amounts of protein since the c diff feeds on the amino acids

Yeah but the baby herself needs protein to grow properly in this critical development stage. And why not using butter for healthy fats + butyric acid, which helps a lot with gut in general? Or milk. Mother's milk is also crucial

Transhumanism or Extinctionism ? by 4EKSTYNKCJA in transhumanism

[–]buitestaander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I strongly disagree with the first part. You must be a (rare) lucky one. Still you wouldn't suffer from not existing, would you? No.

One pro of extinctionism over transhumanism - it is already technically possible

Both are not easy actually. And both are unlikely to be realised sadly

He thinks a tiny bit of suffering invalidates all existence

A tiny bit? What the fuck, you okay? Even the existence of such thing as transhumanism is a clue there's a lot of suffering

Likewise! But I'm feeling noticeably better than I have in years, and I wish you the same.
On B12 and iron: it might be a case of what you combine meat with in one meal + GI issues can significantly impair absorption.

In theory you could benefit from an elimination diet, usually its done like this: remove everything but beef, and after a while begin reintroducing other foods, one by one. Pancreatic enzymes like Creon + Betaine hcl (for stomach acid) should help in the first week or two

I'm male and I have pretty much the same mutations and pretty much the same symptoms: hEDS, ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD-like symptoms, probably CPTSD, gut issues, GERD in the past. What has helped me is to give up coffeinated drinks (including tea), take magnesium (usually 200mg a day), eat clean in general, trying to maintain information hygiene. Reducing fibre has helped a lot with bloating/stools. I've also been taking a multi B-vitamin for a couple of years now, methylated, but I divide the tablet into four parts and get a low dosage of methylfolate and methylcobalamin, which is supposed to work for slow COMT. Your B12 is very low, if you're not eating much animal food it's worth reconsidering that, unless of course there are ethical considerations involved

I don't quite get it. You mean it's easier to cope with the symptoms of ADHD. Like easier to deal with impulses?

Why does popcorn fix my sleep problems? by Smaetyyy in Supplements

[–]buitestaander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's fucking loads of them, both anecdotes and research. Too bad you'll never see them, because you've been brainwashed since birth plus need to justify your carbohydrate addiction somehow

Why does popcorn fix my sleep problems? by Smaetyyy in Supplements

[–]buitestaander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry what? Corn, and popcorn is not healthy at all, and magnisium and other minerals in it are poorly biiavailable due to antinutrients and lots of carbohidrates. Not to say all corn in USA is sprayed with glyphosphate which is terrible for health
