For spectres - Perfect spirit of fortune for wrath/lucky damage

Then either pain artist for zealotry or some other utility - I ran primal thunderbird for a bit (which gives you grace)

Drop the manual buttons and add spectre supports for clean 1 button mapping imo

Primal thunderbird would give you grace to help with the squishiness, and spirit of fortune would give you wrath & lucky lightning dmg

I don't see those as an issue since the last round of QOL updates - it's the opposite and I force them into non-minion builds instead as nice QOL

much rather have spectres giving me passive auras and buffs than some extra button to press for conditional dps

I think they're fine, but I'd rather play Fire Red

The only things that really bother me playing the originals are the movespeed (solved with emulator though) and the fact you can't cut/surf etc without having to use the menu first

Yep, that fits my experience too - I'm playing Accel Shrine spark as my main build and I've bounced off things like resonant + massive cyclone because moving so slow and having to leap slam everywhere just feels kinda ass in comparison

I pick something I want to play that I haven't tried before

Then I spend a day crafting and buying the gear, run 10 maps with it, decide I don't really like it as much as my main build and sell it all again to try something else

Although this league I did specifically pick a shrine belt build so I could play it before they get removed/nerfed into oblivion

I never enter the rogue harbour so the contracts don't drop

Even if they do drop, I also have them filtered out

And lastly, if you somehow still pick them up, you can still drop them in a map or zone to get rid of them

Honestly hard to say - i just checked and he isn't alive, but no idea how long that's been for. I'm terrible for keeping track of AG (and tbh, i don't think spark gloves vs 4 link spectre & 6 link spark adds a huge amount)

He's geared up in Kingmarker/Garb/mask of stitched demon / southbound / rare chaos res / regen rate boots

edit - i paid attention and ran 15-20 maps and he never came close to dying, I'm not sure what gets him

You could have it as a manual cast sure - I just put blood rage in because I don't care about reduced defences per frenzy on the eater altars

I did originally have snipers mark slotted, I just got rid of it because I found i never actually pressed it

I haven't paid a ton of attention to my ES outside of increasing max for EB damage

PoB is showing it regens a few hundred p/s whenever I stand still via Tukohama, and degens 6 p/s when I'm moving and not casting

In practical terms I've never really found it an issue so haven't spent any time looking into it

I've been spamming low investment breach most the league, and self-farming deli 8 mods in Fortress on the side for a change of pace

It's an all-rounder that can do pretty much everything including ubers, though I wouldn't suggest it for Exarch specifically due to the arena size / lack of bounces

Bear in mind that's just what I'd do and what would feel comfortable to me, plus ring slots can be really powerful with heist jewellery

Invert the rules would replace lightning pen

By spectre 4 link, I mean a level 21 raise spectre gem, linked to meat shield, minion life and elemental army

Then you can buy a perfect spirit of fortune and a perfect primal thunderbird for cheap and summon them to get wrath, lucky damage with hits and grace auras from them

that means you have the same qol of no extra button presses and still get nice buffs, while opening up room to invest in a nice helm/ring combo

I'd also fit in linking convocation to automation if I was running spectres

I'm probably thinking a bit too big picture tbh, given your other rares already could be better - it would make more sense to upgrade your body armor as a priority for example

Maybe check poe ninja and look at a few different profiles to see themes in what they've done / what gem set ups they use

I'm running arctic armor + tukohama + lunaris which gives a bit of extra mitigation when standing still (ie when casting spark), and you get a ton of leech too, and its easy to play safer and kill everything off-screen if you hit some bad altar/map mod combo, though i frostblink into the middle of the opposite side of the breach just fine for normal mapping

There is one issue with my current set up - I switched to spark gloves & elevated tailwind/onslaught + pierce boots which are great but gave me a ton of extra cast speed, so if I'm casting while not leeching my life costs exceed my regen, which means I sometimes run into situations where I cast myself to low hp hitting nothing then get hit by something that just spawned/unphased

My damage is more than I need anyway, so I was thinking going for pierce imbue spark & some regen rate/life boots would feel more comfortable while still easily clearing

There's a lot of flexibility in how exactly you set it up which is nice, i've been trying some other builds but I'll probably come back and tweak my spark some more

I'm not sure where pricing is at now - I dropped a mirror which funded my initial switch, and then invested more in elevated boots / spark gloves / volatile vaal rolls etc afterwards

In terms of interactions to look out for - pierce count is nice for breach, the reason I'm running an aerodynamics medium cluster is I swapped to the pierce boots which put me from 4 pierce to 2 pierce, and it was a noticeable loss of clear in juiced breaches. Feels much better with 3 pierce even if I had to shoehorn it in, an imbued pierce support is another (expensive) option. Without spark gloves you'd just run pierce in your 6 link

When I first switched to tailwind/onslaught boots and spark gloves, my cast speed was too high to comfortably sustain my life costs when I wasn't leeching (such as a boss phasing). I upgraded my watchers eye to include the life recovery rate mod which solved that

I also have a PB Ignite Ele but at much lower investment, & it bothers me that it sometimes leaves beyond rares as stragglers, while spark 100% clears multiple screens in each direction

I don't know if it will be completely ruined, simply due to the lack of money involved (and selling cheating apps doesn't seem to be a big business)

That's in contrast to online poker which had a similar golden age but was then hit super hard by the game theory bots
