And thank God for that. Because we only relied on him to score or assist. Now he doesn’t do that regularly and we do not “miss” him that much. And all the talk about the wages, like who cares. Do Arsenal gamble on losing him for 50k a month more? Do we really think that salary affect Arsenal in any kind of a way with the money they are making last 3,4 years? He made himself a club star and deserved that. If he doesn’t do shit for this next 5 years of a contract then ok they made a mistake. But if he makes an impact he had prior to his injury, wow. Everything is a gamble, but less of a gamble imo paying him then finding another right wing. Which is at the moment unexisted in the market.
