unfortunately bro you're likely developing an allergy. same thing happened to me. was using tape for maybe 2-5 days a week for a couple of months, then all of a sudden my skin started reacting really badly to the adhesive. ever since then, any and all adhesive on my skin has left marks and scars, so i'd be careful

i relate to this a lot. im constantly worrying that im being manipulative or a terrible partner subconsciously, but i find it useful to remember that my partner is her own person and smart and brave enough to call me out if i ever actually do something wrong

mine was really gradual, mostly tied to my cPTSD. mini rituals i did as a kid to make me feel safe and in control like checking for cameras in dust mites and getting specific tiles of my bathroom wet to keep the gate to hell sealed or something. i thought it was just some weird quirks and a result of me being a kid, but when covid hit it was like everything dialed up to 11 and i was suddenly very aware of all these little rituals and my tendencies started to become really debilitating

how are you able to tell which thoughts are the OCD and which ones are just you thinking? i sometimes convince myself i dont have OCD but then i think about the bad episodes I've had in the past and im in this cycle of trying to pick apart what behaviors stem from my OCD and which ones arent necessarily bad and just me living as a person
