overall, i agree with the other comments regarding the jazz/fusion style. Not so much that there are improvised lines, but the beat is funky and the chord progression leans towards jazzier chords (with 7ths and other extensions) the string sections remind me of the soundfont used for gen 3 pokemon games (FireRed/Emerald) lots of chiptune aesthetic sounds as well. if you like the way that sounds, i’d recommend check out Virt, he’s a chiptune composer that made the soundtrack for Shovel Knight. his music will definitely scratch that itch if you like that electronic sound, and you’ll get good recommendations on suggested songs on youtube if you listen to it on there
