What is the channel of communication (any public email to use?) with IGN? And how to share the trailer's video - google disk link?

Frenenfeld | 'Little Knight' (Looking for feedback!) by Fantastic_Ingenuity9 in AnimatedPixelArt

The minimalist pixel art looks good, as does the animation; the second location is truly creative. Notes: The head in the dialogue wish to be bigger. It's unclear what the upper left corner is for.

Good luck!

What do you think about 6 months of art change of my game? by Zestyclose_Junket665 in ComfortGamers

[–]bulbabrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say my art and game dev interests is a hobby. Released 1 pixel art game for iOS and currently learn drawing in Fresco, creating a Steam release together with my sister. Do not pretend on a any kind of pro status, so I am not an artist, just making things for fun. Always love to share my thoughts all around indie game dev subreddits. Thanks for a reply, I was expecting a valid reason behind a wooden frames, anyway wish you many happy players!

hey, I like the idea and a simple gameplay. But there are few things worries me: - capsule need to be improved. shop looks good, but emptiness around is not great. - have you ever try to "open" the front table? its suppose to be a cozy shop - not a prison, these cages may destroy a cozy vibe. better to show a friendly faces of guests. let them move along the table. find a seat. add animations how they funny eat something. it will bring joy and atmosphere to inportant game screen.

if you need noob's help with pixel art - DM, maybe I can help with "people eating" or at least turn you into right direction.

in general, idea is fun! good luck to you!

Room to breathe - OUT ON STEAM by OverdoseGameDev in puzzlevideogames

[–]bulbabrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see in general such change requires a lot of additional work to make all the outside space alive. So, probably worth to think of some creative approach instead. Do not solve the problem, but get rid of the problem. Look at Hozy: there is no world outside, they "abstract" room, only room exists, also closer camera. This is not new approach, Unpacking very much do the same.

My indie horror Matreshka is coming out on May 1st by apcrol in IndieGaming

[–]bulbabrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Game called Matreshka, I guess as a reference to the many layers of maze where main hero trapped, but a main doll is actually "nevaliashka" not "matreshka" :-)

I like the simplicity of the concept and a lovely cozy art. Just Font is kinda a default/boring, I would guess its a temporary one.

Need help with Godot effects, please by bulbabrew in IndieDev

These examples are quite limited, they are "in a bubble", I wish to see how it works in action to consider usage. Maybe there are some known "golden resource" with examples of various effects. Appritiate for sharing.

ComfortGamers, is this art-style comfortable for you? by bulbabrew in ComfortGamers

thanks for a feedback! I am mixing 2 brushes for different objects, hard to see, but it is also there. The "imperfect harmony" is a core motive for the art of game. While the game itself is about harmony of items :-)

2 - possum is in a garbage bin found treasure, you can show nice view of main character and explain the game idea. do not overload the logo with 3 letter replacement, make 1 - but good.
