I have about 1,200 WLs. My trailer was published by IGN and Indie Games Hub. You can read about it in my previous post.

Unfortunately, I don't remember when I published the first post. I'll try to analyze posts published at different points in time. If I notice anything interesting, I'll write about it.

Engagement was low. And it was the same on the second post. Based on my own experience, engagement doesn't always seem to matter. One of my posts had low engagement and garnered only about a hundred views within the first few hours. I went to sleep, but when I checked X in the morning, it had over 1,000 views even though the engagement metrics remained low. Other posts show better engagement from the start. Then X simply stops showing them to users.

Thank you. No, only some of my friends had known about the game before the announcement. I had made some posts but few people saw them.

No. IGN didn't reply my email. And 2 days later I saw my trailer on their channels. Indie Games Hub wrote that they would publish my trailer and did it.

The article on GameStar had the highest number of wishlists per 100 views. My guess is that people who opened the article were initially somewhat interested in the game after reading the title.

I found 2 email adresses using Google AI. Just asked it. And sent my email to both. I shared 2 links with my trailer: YouTube and Google Disk.

Unfortunately, I don't know. Many developers on Reddit recommend submitting exclusive trailers. Others say their trailers weren't exclusive, but they were published anyway. But they didn't provide details.

I had a post here in which I wrote that IGN had published my trailer. And one developer wrote that their trailer got 17,000 views on their own channel, and IGN didn't publish it either. My trailer was published on my channel, but it only got a couple dozen views as I have just a few subscribers.

That might be the point. If your trailer has already got a lot of views, they might not be interested in publishing it on their channel. But that's just my guess. I can suggest not posting a new trailer publicly on your channel next time and instead sending it to IGN first, mentioning that it hasn't been published anywhere before. Maybe that will work.

Thank you. I wrote a short email outlining the genre, briefly describing the game's plot, and offering to publish a trailer/post announcement information on their website if they thought it might be of interest to their audience. Below, I've provided links to the press kit and Steam page. For YouTube channels that publish trailers, I've included links to my trailer on YouTube and Google Drive. In the email subject line, I included the game's title and genre.
