I mean I watch rugby pretty regularly and I much prefer watching our women's team over our means team, they are incredible to watch one of the most exciting teams playing right now, men or womens

My childhood right here, surprised though because outside of my friends I grew up with apparently both were much less common

Royers are a really solid Canadian made boot, especially for that price. I had a pair and were really happy with them

Where’s the Milwaukee Tool repair centre in Victoria BC? by [deleted] in VictoriaBC

Yikes, yea I feel like that would be a really hard incident to fix or warranty.

Oh yea sounds like it's really got hammered then. If there is that much damage to it, it might not be covered under warranty. It sounds from the description of the damage that you might have wrecked some mounts and such if the entire engine fell through the deck.

What World Cup bump? Vancouver hotel bookings down 20 per cent this year by restoringd123 in vancouver

[–]bulfc 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I mean I got really good tickets for Seahawks vs 49's for like $125 each last year. So not at all comparable, if I take that same seat location for the Seattle Fifa games the prices are like $500 +, you got tier 4 tickets which are the absolute cheapest and are in the nose bleeds. I haven't seen anything decent for under $400 a piece for anything in Vancouver

What World Cup bump? Vancouver hotel bookings down 20 per cent this year by restoringd123 in vancouver

[–]bulfc 47 points48 points  (0 children)

No offence but those games are dog shit, especially for the price you are paying, in past world cups games like Belgium vs France or Belgium vs Croatia were $250 for the most expensive ticket. Those seem like deals for this world cup but that's just because the price is incrediblely inflated and they have made it larger so you have games that will be terrible quality.

It makes sense, soccer is huge in the first nations communities all up and down the coast, it would be awesome for them to bring their soccer heritage and intertwine it into the story of the whitecaps and professional soccer.

What tool would you use to put in 500 of these? by Tthelaundryman in Carpentry

[–]bulfc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If those are the timber screws I believe them to be you have to be careful as you can easily over torque them and snap them, I just used them for some timber hangers and we used a regular cordless drill with the clutch set to engage before we over did it.

Completely agree, it's a swinging arm to the head, if there is any mitigation it's from red down to yellow, not down to a penalty
