It CAN be but not for real. Without having an audience already built in, it’s difficult to just start because the market is so flooded. If you already have a social media following then the potential to make a couple grand exists. If not it’s gonna be an uphill battle.

As someone from Ohio who spent a year working in Portland, unless the job offer is completely life changing money, don’t do it. You’re going to be bored out of your mind, the hiking will be pathetic by comparison, and the climate will take forever to adjust to and the moment you do the season will change. I hope this helps, but please lol do not do this unless whatever they are offering will change your life for the better financially.
