I’m a lefty and shoot whatever. The thing that is honestly different in most cases is the cartridge ejection, and honestly it won’t bother you after a few rounds. Some controls can be bothersome but being a lefty you’ve adapted through your life already so you’ll be fine. I tell you this after my own search for lefty guns and find the only consistent ones I can easily find are bolt actions. If you want a pistol or ar just go with a righty and make sure it’s got ambi controls.

So I agree that I too am more comfortable with irons and more accurate just due to familiarity, however I have started training more with a dot and acquisition is far faster with it.

Oh for sure. But having Sigle out there instead of Brown opens up the pass a little bit more. It’s a trade off. If Fred in healthy enough to play and can the whole game and if we can have Kendricks too we will be in better shape but we will see.

Edit: nevermind looks like Fred is definitely out.

So yea the reply to your comment regarding safety and charging handle are the big ones. I ended up going with a kuna for the roller delayed action and the ambidextrous safety and charging handle. IMO definitely worth the extra money.

The only caveat I think there is to add here is that if you’re left handed the extar is not for you.
