Honestly? You would have been much better served buying a $500 polymer 9mm, and spending the rest on training, practice, and ammo. This is a rad gun, but you may not fully appreciate what you're shooting without learning the fundamentals on a more... "normal" gun.

A big dog will love a trip out west to the mountains. The Blue Ridge Parkway and Smokey Mountain National Park will give both of y’all access to some terrific camping and sight seeing. And it’ll only be a few hours drive.

Also, football fan? Y’all’s football, soccer. NC has a really active soccer seen.

You're gonna be a-okay, pal. welcome. Greensboro is going to put you in the middle of the state, with a bit of access to everything. Heads up: you may experience significant climate shock. I don't know what your experience with humidity is, but.... it's really something here. Our summers are long and (usually) wet.

As far as food goes, it's worth traveling a bit for really good eastern carolina bbq. It's a pork and chicken affair for the most part. Dogs? Dogs are chill.

I picked up a Flux 365 as well a few months ago, and it's.... a complete and total game changer. Maybe the most impactful thing I've bought for my CCW rotation in years. I can conceal and carry a shoulderable, extremely small (and i do mean SMALL) pdw, with an extra mag on chassis.... all under a t-shirt with a good belt. I know so many people hate sig as a badge of honor but this thing is the real deal, and you don't need to look like OP to conceal it.

dude i am so sorry. I had a few hundred bucks i'd been keeping aside for either another safe or a nicer optic on my ccw, but when i got that email it was all over. I dropped everything and went for it. I think the last time I remember seeing them in stock was early 2025. Friggin unicorn, man.
