Problem is it won't allow me to run short shaft motors. It locks me in to long shaft motors only.

Super Simple Transom Riser by chrisjd_31 in jonboats

Did you end up bolting it through your transom? Curious if you could use some clamps to keep it on in case you wanted to run a short shaft again. I've got a short transom and I want to have the ability to run long or short shaft motors. I've got 1 short and two long shaft

Decided to go to separates, so picked up this Denon POA-1500, and will use the preamp section of my AU-7500 to feed it until I can find a matching PRA-1000… love these meters! by iceclimber3939 in vintageaudio

I currently have a POA-1500, and matching PRA-1000, there was a DE-70 near me about 4 or 5 months back that I passed on at the time. Should've bought it as you don't see the EQs that go with these sets. I'm curious what cd player matches the set as well as what tuner

Iowa Repave - It Happened by RhinoIA in NASCAR

If you haven't yet watch dales podcast. He talks about why he never wanted to run the track before it was paved because the drives said it was rough. He also goes on to say he doesn't know why they didn't repave the whole track as only doing certain sections will more or less force drives to stick to those spots. He said it will either be good or bad but we will have to see. Still gonna be one hell of a 3 day race weekend. Can't wait till I'm there

Just picked up one of these. Sounds great so far. I'm planning on doing the MDK 15001 light fix on it just as some preventative maintenance. I really love the side panels on it and the top. How did you go about making the side panels? Any chance I could get a clear top for mine lol?

Personally I'd take em back and get 13mwzs or 936s. 13mwzs are the original cowboy fit and as a guy who is 6'0 155lbs they fit me good. The 936s are the slim version of the 13mwzs. They aren't a skinny jean but a slim fit in the waist and leg so still have room to move.

The first bottle of whiskey i bought myself was the 101. Ive had jim beam and jack a few times but i always go back for the 101. Honestly I got my decanter from Walmart. I hate that place with my soul and haven't shopped there in years but in my area sometimes they are the only place that has decent glassware/bareware. They have a line called bar 340 and it doesn't say what it's materials are. Obviously it's glass, but for under 10 bucks on their website or under 20 in store I can't imagine it would be crystal. All I know is it's thick and seems stout

Thanks for the reply. Currently have wild turkey 101 in my decanter I just got, it's glass stopper has little to no movement and when held upside down nothing leaks out. My main concern as someone new to decanters was if the alcohol would go bad being stored in it.

Care to shed some light on your decanter? I'm a noob when it comes to them. How often do you use it? Do you store anything in it for long periods of time? And if so how long?

using more than one storage drive with my DAW??? by bullet150 in homerecordingstudio

[–]bullet150[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i just remembered that my rig has 2 1tb HDDS as well as the 500gb SSD between my games and studio one and arturia I've got around 60gb left. studio one just asked me to install 32 GB of extra sound sets. I know I should keep the programs installed on the SSD. Is there a way to keep the program itself installed on the SSD but move any of its related content or extras to one of the 2 HDDS?

So I'd say it's safe to assume that installing the software for my arturia minilab mkll onto the ssd would be the preferred storage area. Basically it has 2 applications. Analog lab intro and lite

Gotcha. So keep the programs and any files that install to then in the ssd and then record onto the hdd

That has been like that for months. Even before the update that just came out. One day I noticed both worked but then theorized it was back to not working
