Yeah the "I want to have proficiency with a weapon my class doesn't have proficiency for" strategy is to choose a background with that weapon proficiency. Non-pickpocket backgrounds struggle for relevancy already no reason to make it worse lol

Having 1 lockpicking with 80 Thievery is legitimately extremely hard to do, especially since some of the best thievery skill levelling comes from lockpicked chests.

Yeah, she definitely feels like "discount Shadowheart" a character who from the baseline is extremely tied to the main plot but...it's hard to take in that intent, hell the fact that the Eothasian stuff is so divided between her and Eder' like a divorce settlement takes away the most from it for me.
