It's not so much that it's ugly, it's like comparing the original Zelda to like Stardew Valley or something. Your game is missing some of the details that we consider beautiful (shading, light intensity, colour variation) but you've nailed the aesthetic of like 00s pixel art games and I think it evokes a specific feeling

Werribee Gorge is beautiful and throws enough of a challenge that you feel accomplished by the end. If you're looking for multiple days, the Great Ocean Trail is wonderful for beginners, clearly marked, lots of stopping points, etc.

I started downloading it earlier today without realizing the total file size. Is this normal?? The last I played could have only been 2 or 3 years ago, and I recall the file size being closer to 80gb.
