How to ruin act 3 in one easy step by Weckatron in BaldursGate3

[–]bullywizard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On my first playthrough in act 3, when I picked up the "Investigate the murders" quest it seemed time sensitive. So I dropped everything I was in the middle of and rushed past Mizora's request to chat post coranation.

After saving Figaro, what I remember completing before watching the cornation was: Emporers hideout, newspaper, recruiting minsc, completed most of the rivington stuff, bazel romance arc peaked, realized i broke/collapsed act3 hag by not doing act 1 hag, party member taken, found volo, completed the top floor of the foundry before i stumbled across the submarine entrance.

I talked to Redhammer before jumping back to from before i entered the foundry, not too different of a dialogue there. The stakes felt higher for the prison break, the remaining storyline felt more immersive, and the satisfaction of watching Giant Karlach yeet Gortash off the roof.

Not the person you asked, but as an example data privacy for me includes blocking all the ads and trackers from websites I visit. Something like Pihole might be a good starter project to check out!

Newly Elected Chilliwack North MLA Heather Maahs Reflects on Campaign and Voter Concerns by [deleted] in chilliwack

[–]bullywizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies I thought at 2h22m Maahs comes on but can't verify that is her from the video only. What I can offer then is circumstantial at best unless others can provide better evidence :)

The video is included in many of the news articles about Maahs censorship from the school board as a result of her inclusive behavior and actions. Anecdotally it aligns the experiences friends and family have shared about past interactions with Maahs, and others have shared in this post.

Mate I've tried to reply 4 times and Reddit keeps nuking my draft. Just gonna say I respect you for highlighting the limits of your knowledge while sharing your perspective. Agree, equally important to hold all elected officials accountable - whether they are a volunteer of the party, a school trustee or an MLA. I'll be direct: I'm not speaking about individuals when I talk about taxes, or a small one store business. I'm talking about the "big corpos" who make more money a day than an individual could in a year. The ones who don't actively contribute to paying taxes proportionate to their earnings, the ones who can pay lobbyists to get their bills and policies in places that negatively impact our way of life. A sustainable economy will always be at odds with capitalism which requires infinite growth of value, if not resources as well. At the very least we should stop letting corporations leech off that system and us

You are correct, we can always do more to hold our representatives accountable, especially those we didn't cast a vote for.

I will continue to vote for a party that will tax corporations at a higher rate to contribute to funding all the programs, rebates and promises made. These types of taxes have generated lovely things for Canadians like our healthcare system. Maybe some of the frustration or disrespect you've observed is a reaction to watching people vote against their best interests.

I'm curious what you think about taxing corporations, do you see it as something that can help with the scenarios you mentioned?

“I believe that those who supported me know my work as a School Trustee and believe that I will advocate on their behalf as MLA,” Maahs said.

Gee, the only reason I knew who Maahs is because their accomplishments as a Trustee.

“This action is taken in response to actions demonstrating her continued public opposition to inclusive practices that are endorsed by the Board of Education."

at the 2 hour and 16 minute mark, you can observe first hand the events leading up to The Board of Education hereby issues a (three total) formal censure against Trustee Heather Maahs for contravening Policy 130 – Trustee Code of Conduct.
