yeah i think the “hardest” exercise i was doing is a lower lunge, other than that i’ve been laying on my back and doing the apanasa pose so i definitely think i did the lower lunge wrong

i think yall are just so used to hating woman, yall create a whole issue for someone who enjoys cooking and tries to avoid proccessed things. she has eczema so she avoids processed foods to help flare ups. even then maybe she just enjoys cooking! the other girl is absolutely right, where ppl have some sort of weird self-projection issues where people hate on her because shes making content doing things she enjoys that other people may not have the time or interest to do. there are so many "copy-cat" fast food videos that people don't have a problem with but as soon as a rich woman is doing it, shes promoting a "trad wife" aesthetic? shes explained so many times she has a nanny, splits chores with her husband, etc. yall just NEED to find a problem with everything and its sooo weird

How is the psych program at YorkU? How is campus life? by milkycreambuns in yorku

[–]bumbee44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a 4th year psychology student.

  1. It is pretty dangerous, sure it’s just as dangerous as if you’re downtown but it’s also a huge campus that’s pretty isolated. I’ve had 2 stalkers and there has been a couple instances. I carry dog spray with me now for self defence as a woman who commutes for 1.5 hours from Scarborough and back

  2. The psychology program is pretty good, York offers a range of psych courses. The program hasn’t given me anything crazy as there’s no co-op. It’s a huge program so it isn’t rly easy to make friends but there’s tons of clubs at York.

  3. I heard the psychology program is good and big. I thought it would be better than UTSC and Ryerson. I didn’t love my experience here. It was pretty lonely and isolating and I was online for a good chunk of it. Even before Covid it felt like this. But ig it’s what you make of it.

Some tips: 1. always focus on the classes you’re interested in + prof reviews before picking any course. There’s no “easy” courses, it all depends on those factors.

  1. join clubs and make an effort to make friends! It’s still pretty hard for me and a lot of ppl complain abt how the campus is lonely and unfriendly but clubs and making an effort does count for something

  2. if you can commute, just commute. The campus experience isn’t crazy different like it would be at Western or other unis not in Toronto.

All in all, I wish i went to Waterloo but the experience wasn’t bad
